Marquee Cinemas — Local services in Wheeling

We visited the Marquee Theater in Triadelphia, WV on 7/15/25 for the 6:20 pm Jurassic Park movie and, unfortunately, had the most disappointing experience I've ever had at a movie theater. Throughout the film, multiple guests were carrying on full-volume conversations—far from a whisper—and children were just as loud, with no effort from accompanying adults to manage the noise. What was especially concerning was the complete absence of staff intervention. At no point did an usher or employee enter to monitor the auditorium. We even witnessed another group leave the theater midway through due to the disruption. My party had to change seats in an attempt to hear and enjoy the film, which only slightly improved the situation. It's disheartening to pay for a movie and be unable to enjoy it due to a lack of enforcement of basic theater etiquette. So I usually never write reviews because I feel it’s unnecessary, however if there is something exceptional (either good or bad) I’ll review. This time it was the quality of the bathrooms. The bathrooms were standard, dated bathrooms. Something that you would expect from this cinema. However since the other stalls were taken except one, I proceeded to take the last one. To my dismay there was a piece of human feces on the ground. It didn’t look recent either. I believe if they were to clean like they are supposed to, they would not have left that there in the ground. Went to pay for tickets and concessions but my card was lock because my account apparently got hack and I didn’t know so I let the girl working know and slipped off to the side . Few minutes later an older lady yelled at us and asked if I was going to get my popcorn and drinks so it can “get out of her way” I went to explain I was on the phone with my card provider and that I haven’t paid for anything so I wouldn’t want to take it. I was ignored and talked rudely about as if I wasn’t standing there so I left and flipped them off . Those girls need a major attitude adjustment.
