LongHorn Steakhouse — Restaurant in West Virginia

12/19/23 We recently dined at Longhorn Steakhouse in Triadelphia, WV. It is our sixth time. 4 out of the six times have been OUTSTANDING- THIS TIME: Jasmine and Terry made the experience top notch. We brought a relative who has never in thirty plus years has eaten a steak. A fantastic experience. Porterhouse and the outlaw....

AUG 2023 From the moment we walked in, the service was prompt and efficient. Haley, our server, was attentive and friendly throughout our meal.

We were pleasantly surprised by how quickly our appetizer and drink order was taken. In just 6 minutes, we had placed our order and were eagerly awaiting our selections. To our delight, the warm bread, Brussel sprouts, and white cheddar cheese stuffed mushrooms arrived within 8 minutes. The mushrooms were piping hot and packed with flavor, while the Brussel sprouts were deliciously warm and perfectly cooked.

Our drinks were also delivered promptly, within just 4 minutes. The manager even made a point to come out and inquire about our steak preference, as I had requested to see the steak ahead of time. This attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction was truly impressive.

Throughout our meal, Haley made sure that our table remained decluttered and that our drinks were refreshed in a timely manner. Our side salad arrived promptly and was a great precursor to the main course.

Speaking of the main course, our meals arrived hot and were of exceptional quality. I ordered the Porterhouse steak cooked medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. The taste was absolutely excellent. The mushrooms that accompanied the steak were tender and delicious, while the Outlaw steak was well-done and incredibly flavorful. The additional Brussel sprouts, fries, and sweet potato with caramel were also hot and fresh, a perfect complement to our steaks.

I cannot say enough good things about Haley. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and truly went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was exceptional. Her professionalism and friendly demeanor added to the overall positive experience.

This was not my first time dining at Longhorn Steakhouse in Triadelphia, but it was certainly one of the best experiences I have had. Out of the four times I have eaten at this location, two have been exceptional, and this particular visit was definitely one of them. WORST DINNER EXPERIENCE EVER!! Came to celebrate a birthday expecting a good dinner but we had quite the opposite. To start our server Deb M. took almost 10 minutes to greet our table then another 10 to bring out the drinks and bread. After that she came one time to check on us and processed to spill water on me and did not apologize or offer a napkin, she just walked away. When she came back I asked for a napkin and instead of just going to get one she told me it was called a linen not a napkin and then walked away and did not bring it back for several minutes. When we were given our drinks instead of passing out the coaster she threw them towards everyone and did the same with our straws. When one of our guest asked for a straw she said it’s right there and walked away. When our food started coming out it was not up to par and when this was said to the server she was very unhappy with us reporting this to her. When this was brought to the attention of the store manager all she could say was “she’s been a server for 10 years so that’s not like her” then proceeded to walk away. After the server came back to check the food finally she asked if the steak was okay and before we could answer she just walked away. Before the dinner started we had informed her of the birthday and she said they would sing but when the dessert came out but another server brought the cheesecake and did not sing. I tried twice to bring this to her attention and the first time I was mid sentence asking if she was going to sing and she just walked away. The second time I asked her she got very upset and snapped back at me “I wasn’t there when they brought it out because I was too busy taking something off you’re check to sing” and then proceeded to drop the bill and walk away. The over all unprofessional attitudes and service we were given at dinner tonight was completely UNACCEPTABLE. The server was very horrible towards our table and the manager could not even give a kind word or apology to us but instead brushed off the issues and made it seem like we were in the wrong, I am sure corporate would not find it acceptable for management to be representing their brand...

I love longhorn steakhouse. The only reason this one didn’t get the stars that it deserved is because of a server/ bartender, Dulciena. I ordered the food over the phone, to go, however, I decided to eat in the restaurant. The barstools were too high and uncomfortable so I asked the server if I could sit at a table that I would be comfortable at and she said no. The area with lower tables were totally empty. I asked if I could speak to a manager and then she said “she’s just gonna tell you the same thing I just said.” I wonder why the manager didn’t say the same thing that she had just said??? Oh, it’s because the manager is not a racist and actually has Customer Service skills. It’s so weird when you speak to someone over the phone and they are so kind and pleasant. But when you actually get in front of them and they see you, they have a totally different tone?...
