Let me start this by saying that I love Panera in general but my last few visits at different locations have not been great. Today’s visit to this location was probably the worst of them. The restaurant had 2 tables with people in them so not busy at all. We were there around 8:40am. We placed our orders and went to get coffee and wait for our food to be prepared. Dark Roast was empty, no worries the lady behind the counter, once asked, would go make more. I decided to eat my soufflé while my husband waited for his sandwich. My soufflé was cold, and I don’t mean it wasn’t piping hot, I mean it wasn’t even room temp, so I went back to the coffee station to microwave it. While we waited for every e else’s sandwiches I finished my soufflé and still no food for them. Since the speaker was right above us and was very loud the guys went up to see if maybe they had called us and we hadn’t heard them and lo and behold their food was there. When we stated that we didn’t know it was ready a girl from the back shouted “he called your name!!” My husband replied that the music was so loud we hadn’t heard them, no apology simply “well he yelled your name, I heard him”. While I know that days of customer service seem to be a fond memory, I’d like to think that in an EMPTY Panera, when someone’s food had been waiting for pickup so long that it was now cold someone would have used their PA to say the name again or even walk through the restaurant calling the name but no. Its sad to pay good money for what should’ve been a tasty breakfast but ended up being microwaved sandwiches and soufflés. On the way out I stopped by the front counter and said, “no biggie, I microwaved it, but my soufflé was cold, not room temp even but cold, just thought you’d like to know” again, no apology or empathy, just “well I don’t know why it would be cold the hot plate is on”. We do travel through this area from time to time, next time we’ll just run into Sheetz at least it’ll be hot. My last few Panera experiences have saddened me because it used to be one of my favorite...
Read moreI been a customer of Panera for several years and today I literally get kick out of the Panera located in 506 Cabela drive Triadelphia, WV because I ask to purchase a soup on a bread bowl. The attendant told me that they were out of bread bowls and for that reason they can not sell me the soup on it. While I was deciding what else I can order I see bread bowls in the back sitting on the rack, so I ask again the attendant if I can purchase just the bread. So she turns a bit upset and told me I can’t sell it to you, then I replied that she shouldn’t be upset about it. In different times the other store went out their way to help me out. Any way at this point I ask talk to the Manager. When the manager came out she was very upset and told me that they have an order for next day and they can’t sell me the bread. Then she add you can leave now. Then I ask why. That I never been treated this way before. Another employee intervine and told me that should Leave because I was causing a disturbance and I been “derogatory “ which the comment make no sense to me. When I ask what she means by that she said that I call “her name (manager’s name)???? The only thing I did was ask for her manager name so I can talk to the person above her later. Any way I order my food. The rest of the staff was very cordial even knowing her manager literally want me out Very desapointed on...
Read moreWow. This place is disgusting inside and the food is not up to par with Panera standards. Keep in mind we were there at 7pm, they don’t close until 9pm. The self-order tablet was not stocked with drink cups to start. Then looking around after we order they have chairs blocking off the dining room to guests. Well, I paid $34 I’m going to sit down with my family and enjoy our dinner. I finally found a table that wasn’t dirty, as all the booths and tables in dining room except that one were covered with food debris. The floors were nasty looking and everything looked dingy. Now the food part… the Mac n cheese I ordered for my 2-year-old son looked like cereal. The noddles were swimming in milk? It was not the Panera mac n cheese that we were served at the Washington, PA location last week, that’s for sure. Then they were out of a bunch of different breads, so we had to substitute my husbands and I’s sandwich breads. The workers all acted like they did not want to be there, and the manager (I’m assuming?) kept going outside to smoke. It felt like we were being rushed out of the building because they continued putting chairs up blocking the dining room. This was a horrible experience and as someone who frequents Panera a lot this is a sad representation. 0/10 do not recommend, you would be better off going to Taco Bell and saving your hard...
