I’m extremely upset about the way I was treated at PINK over the past two days. I’ve never felt so disrespected or uncomfortable while shopping especially in a store where I regularly spend money.
On the first day, I walked into the store and immediately made eye contact with a woman who I believe is one of the managers. She gave me a dirty look and didn’t greet me at all, but I watched her greet other customers who came in after me. I let it go at the time, thinking maybe I was overthinking it.
But the next day confirmed it wasn’t just in my head. I came back with my two teenage nieces, and one of them wanted to try on clothes. I called for assistance at the fitting rooms, and since one of the doors was already open, I told my nieces to go ahead in. That same woman approached us in an extremely rude and aggressive way. I politely apologized and explained I didn’t realize the room was open, but she ignored me and loudly demanded, “Who’s in there? I need them to come out and show me how many items they have.”
I completely understand that stores have policies, but there is a right and wrong way to speak to customers especially when children are involved. She didn’t speak to us with basic respect. She then knocked repeatedly on the door while my niece was in the middle of changing, causing her to stop and get redressed. The woman stood right in front of the door, pressured her for the number of items, and then forced her way into the dressing room to look around. It was invasive, humiliating, and completely inappropriate.
At that point, I was furious. It felt like we were being treated as if we were trying to steal, and it was beyond disrespectful. She made both me and my nieces feel embarrassed, uncomfortable, and singled out and that’s completely unacceptable. I walked out of the store and took my business to Aerie instead.
As a loyal customer who has always enjoyed shopping at PINK, I’m angry, disappointed, and honestly shocked that someone in a management position would act like that. She treated us like criminals instead of paying customers and I expect this to be...
Read moreGreat sales. I am updating my review from 2yrs ago. I have had a card with VS pink for several years now. I am a vip member and spend loads of money on the website. The website offers way more styles, sales, and sizes than the actual store so I order a lot online. I do accumulate "points" so after spending so much money you can utilize to get great offers and sales also get items for basically free. The sizing for different styles is so inconsistent meaning I can range in every size for different items example: Medium in a sports bra. Medium-DD in a different style bralette. Size xs in campus tees, Size small in logo sweats, large for joggers and bathing suit I just ordered an XXL bottom and large- DD top . vs bras I am usually a 34DD but certain styles fit me funny specially the band my rib area is very small. Anyways I go in and exchange alot never return, Exchange. Almost all the employees look so annoyed with me. This is not my fault as i don't want to even go in hence why i order online. I spend alot of moey at both stores I'm sorry your sizing isn't consistent. I love the clothing and bras I'm sorry if this...
Read moreI visited this location today and had an AWFUL experience. I was extremely disrespected and embarrassed by an employee. When I asked for assistance in finding my size(30F or a 32DDD), she first asked if it was for me and when I said yes she glanced up and down my body and said “don’t look like it.” My jaw dropped, I have never had this rude of a comment made to me in a store in my life. Keep in mind I am wearing baggy clothing and a sports bra so my chest isn’t visible at all, I didn’t realize my body had to be on display to get accurate help at this store. I know my size considering it’s MY body and don’t know why she so rude about it. Unfortunately I did not get her name but she was a young woman with curly dyed blond hair up in a bun. The woman who I am assuming is the manager was very helpful and kind after the interaction but I don’t think someone who makes judgmental comments about people’s bodies should be employed at a...
