This was the worst shopping experience I have ever had. As soon as the sale is made it is a total 360 and you are treated terribly. I had my dress on layaway and I made one big final payment. They ended up taking tax on my payment even though that was already factored in, so I was overcharged around $80! They didn’t answer any of my phone calls or voicemails and I had to go in person to get my money. Alterations were another nightmare. I paid ahead for alterations at the Lehigh Valley Mall when I bought my wedding dress there. The sales person let me know the seamstress was in KOP, but she was trained to pin up the dress and would be able to take all of my measurements and then send the dress to KOP for the seamstress. When I went in to get alterations, the girl had no idea what she was doing. My dress had a lace pattern and she was pinning it so that the seamstress would cut a chunk out of the middle of the dress to preserve/move up the edge of the dress, but this would completely ruin the pattern of the dress in the middle and make it look like two different fabrics crappily stitched together. She admitted she didn’t know what she was doing for a dress like this and told us we had to go to the seamstress in KOP. My mom lives two hours away and wasted a trip here for that appointment. Two weeks later we both go down to KOP (which is even farther for us both). The seamstress comes out and does not say hi or even acknowledge us but starts looking at my dress. We are asking her a bunch of questions and talking to her and she is completely ignoring us for about ten minutes. We start to sound frustrated and she goes and grabs another employee who explains that the seamstress speaks no English. After about an hour, we are able to communicate properly and have the dress all pinned up. I ask if they can ship the dress to the Lehigh valley store when they are done so we don’t have to make the drive to KOP again and they say if they do that, if anything still needs to be altered they will have to recharge us, and if we want a final fitting I have to go back to KOP. We go up front to book our final fitting and the cashier lets us know we owe another $100 for the hem even though we already paid for their most complicated hem months ago at the other store. I simply cannot afford another $100 when the dress with the alterations we paid for was already over my budget. They would not budge, and refused to do my alterations for the price I had already paid. I ended up getting a refund for my alterations but now am going to be stuck paying way more for the dress than I had anticipated. I would not have bought this dress if I knew that the alteration price I paid was inaccurate, and I would be on the hook for hundreds more. My mom and I wasted two days, a ton of gas money, and now are stuck with a dress we cannot afford alterations on. VIP fashion absolutely ruined my wedding dress...

I purchased my wedding dress in a timely manner and even asked them multiple times before making the purchase will it come before my wedding because I will need it here in case things may have to be changed on it so it would come before my wedding date . They kept assuring me it will come on time knowingly of certain holidays and already planned on the calendar. It was supposed to be here Friday and I was assured it will come Monday. Monday came & im getting an excuse of a holiday which was known already. Then had the nerve to tell me I will receive my dress the day before the wedding. I am furious and disappointed in this establishment that I thought I will be recommending to everyone I know and come across. I don’t know what iam going to do with my wedding 3 days away , no dress , there not even answering the phone nor the manager is in contact with me telling me something or even offering an alternative/ apology. I don’t want to pull the race card but all of my things are paid off plus I bought MORE THINGS after this situation. Like come on . What is being done ? I’m pleading & want my dream dress I paid my hard earned money for. Communication is key & that’s something this establishment lack ‼️💯
UPDATE No manager reached out to me about anything else till I called them DEMANDING updates. After a hectic runaround, they had a Dress similar to mine at their Philly location sent over and could of had it sent over SUNDAY NIGHT KNOWINGLY I would’ve received the dress in time & could’ve had alterations done on it but no , they waited till the day before my wedding, dress was too tight & wanted me to pay more money to come to Philly gas , tolls after I already paid over $2000 on my dress in full plus extra accessories plus another dress. After I explained how stressful they made this for me , they come to say , “give her all the jewelry she wants” like that is going to cover all the hell I just endured. Then their Lehigh Valley store worker, the Russian lady with the bad buzz cut hair was saying I didn’t pay for my dress after I showed her I paid my dress off in full 4 times ‼️ Then claimed she doesn’t speak English but when I asked to work with the other nice girl who btw was the only person that actually helped me at that Lehigh Valley store & worth working with ‼️‼️because she understands the situation and what I’m saying, the Russian lady was acting like an aggressive bully . Then she was speaking in her native Russian language in a negative tone and I felt very uncomfortable and threatened. This place WAS THEE WORST ‼️ Again I came here as a new bride & in a timely manner. EXPLAINED EVERYTHING I WANTED, PAID FOR IT , Only received a catfish dream . But for the manager and the staff from Philadelphia. I purchased my daughter dress and other items for her sweet sixteen 4 months ago and paid in full. First of all the dress took 3 months 2 weeks to get here. When I picked up the dress. I made my daughter tried it before we left. The dress didn't fit her, the dear we purchased did have her same dress and the flowers bouquet into this day still hasn't gotten here. They sent my to take the dress and teddy bear to the Philadelphia storw for they can fix it and take her new measurements. They have me back and forward and still has not resolved the situation. Told them I want what I paid for. They want me to take what they want. They even try to give me a flower bouquet that was all dusty and color faded. Wants to keep the dress even it doesn't fit my daughter and the with the bear with the wrong dress. They don't want to exchange for a bigger size nor get the right dress for bear. My daughter birthday is at the end of this month and now I don't have anything. And I'm not the only person this has happened to. The time I went to Philly there was a client that was telling the lady that her daughter dress doesn't fit her if they can't get her a bigger size or fix it, they told her they can try to fix it but it's going to cost her but they can't exchange it for another dress. Crazy because the dress never left the store. Lesson learned. Before you go to but something check different stores and places before purchasing. They dress and items are more expensive.
