DISCRIMINATION AGAINST ASIAN! I went to the Whittier target store on oct 5 around 8.30 am, senior hour, checked out around 9:30. I went through the self check. Isabella was working on a self check machine. There was one machine that was opened. I did not know how to scan 10 water bottles altogether. I waited for Isabella to finished the work, then I asked her how to scan 10 bottles altogether. She did not look at me and did not say a word. She went to another machine. I followed her and asked her again. Same thing, she ignored me. Then she went to the line outside and helped a customer to start using another machine. I was shocked by her attitude. I pushed my cart to the regular check out. I unloaded things in the car and went back to the store. I went to Isabella saying, "You were so rude. You ignored me completely and embarrassed me in front of all the customers." Then I asked to talk to the manager. Teresa came and I told her what happened. I asked to talk to Isabella with Teresa. I repeated the same story in front of both of them. Both of them did not say anything. As I was walking out, Teresa said "I'll talk to Isabella later and tell her supervisor". I was expecting Teresa to tell Isabella not to act that way and an apology. Nothing!! That was discrimination!! I was embarrassed and humiliated by Isabella's attitude in front of other customers. I have never met an employee so rude in my life. When I got home, I called the head office in Minnesota. I talked to the customer service and he transferred me to the Internal Customer Relation and gave me a case number. Then I emailed to Target CEO in Minnesota. Hopefully, I'll hear from Mr. Brian Cornell. I looked up my Target receipt, got the info, and took a survey. I wrote down what had happened. the Whittier HR manager called me...
Read moreI give this place low stars. Very unhelpful staff. I went into target on 8-14 to pick up some earbuds I purchased online. When I got there, they had told me my item was returned to the shelf and that I should see a refund on my account. I had asked why it was returned and they said I had exceeded the amount of days I had to pick them up. They said it was 3 days, though I had placed the order the evening of 8-12, so I didn't think my time was up yet. The lady trying to help me then searched my oder by number and still came up empty. She enlisted her supervisors help, but that woman didn't seem to want to help because she kept taking the next customer instead of pausing to help the woman trying to help me. After about 10 minutes of waiting, the supervisor then just walked away, and the lady helping me followed her. I thought she was running after her supervisor to enlist help, I waited for another 10 min and then neither of them ever came back out. I have no resolution to my problem AND the earbuds are no longer on sale like they were when I purchased them. I understand staffing is hard these days, but these ladies were just rude for no reason. I am left confused and out of a birthday...
Read moreI had the most frustrating experience at this Target store. On March 8 I found two bags of Dove valentine chocolates that were in with the regular bags of Hershey chocolates in the candy aisle. When I scanned them for the price it came up as not found. I asked an employee if she could tell me the price and she said a supervisor could tell me the price when I checked out. At the check-out, I told this to the clerk and he said he would ask his supervisor. The supervisor put a price of less than a dollar below the regular retail price. I definitely did not buy them for that price. I had been in Target on the Tuesday after Valentine's Day and bought a full size bag of Hershey valentine chocolates that was only 35 cents. All the valentine items had been marked down 90% off. It made no sense that three weeks later the price of this valentine candy that was not even in Target's system any more was only less than a dollar off the original retail price. This does not seem like good customer service or good...
