I've been going to Red Robins for a long time. I go to Red Robins all over the San Gabriel Valley OC SoCal everywhere that there is a Red Robin around me. If I'm hungry I will go to a red Robin. My absolute favorite one is the one in Chino. We were doing shopping in Whittier so we said hey let's go to the one in Whittier we got there! The hostess was absolutely amazing. Sat us within 5 minutes me and my girlfriend ordered their special that they have. She hadn't tried it. I've had it a few times already and every time that I've had it before it was great. So we proceed to get this and they made my burger wrong. They put the wrong cheese on it. They put the wrong cheese on my salad which was fine. People make mistakes so I had them re-fire the burger for me. When it came back it was still wrong so I asked to speak to a manager. The manager's name is aly one of the most rudest demeaning managers I've ever had an encounter with at any of the Red robins that I've been to when I got my check it was like $24. They were charging me for her drink and my drink the drinks were supposed to be included with the special. I didn't eat any salad. I didn't need any Burger but sure I had drank some of my tea that came with the special she she was just trying to make her money back for I guess the company cuz they wasted six patties four breads. All the ingredients that go on the burger. After all that was said and done she refused to take my drink off and then she said she would add the yum deal to my girlfriend's burger which she had ordered from the beginning. But she refused to take my drink off and I told her I wasn't going to pay for it. I ordered the special you didn't provide me a special fact of the matter is if you want to have a good experience, go to the one in Chino absolutely great staff. Andrew is one of the best managers that I've ever had The pleasure of dealing with absolutely outstanding and more than can be said for ali as a manager, she should have some type of customer service skills. She was very combative had no accountability for how her staff can't make the food right normally as a manager, you would try to make the customer feel welcome. At no point in time, did they ask my girlfriend if she wanted a refill on her fries or her drink!! What kind of service is this? Read moreI recently visited Red Robin Gourmet Burgers in Whittier, California to celebrate a special occasion. Unfortunately, the overall experience left me disappointed and hesitant to share my experience due to some notable embarrassing issues.
Upon entering the restaurant, my party and I were seated in the bar area, where the lighting was unusually low. This made it challenging to fully appreciate the ambiance and thoroughly inspect our food.
Although our orders arrived promptly, I couldn't help but notice that my burger did not taste fresh. Despite this, I decided to continue eating after paying a considerable amount of $25 for "my" meal. It was disheartening to discover, a few days later when I was preparing to write this review, that there were white patches on top of the burger. This did not appear to be baking flour but appeared to be condensation, and it raised concerns about the overall quality of the food. It was the cameras lighting that actually captured the patches. I took the photo and put my phone down to enjoy my burger make a mistake of not looking at the photo saying that's good enough to come to find out a few days later what the Burger actually look like in the lighting,😳 at least I got a picture of it
For the price we paid, which included two meals 2 burgers,2 fries, and 2drinks, it was disappointing to leave the restaurant feeling unsatisfied. The experience left me hesitant to share my review, as I felt embarrassed for not immediately noticing the issue with the burger buns.
In terms of service, I would rate Red Robin Gourmet Burgers a four out of five. The staff was attentive and our orders arrived in a timely manner. However, when it comes to the food itself, I can only give it a 1 out of five. The lack of freshness and the presence of unusual white patches on the burger were significant disappointments.
I would recommend that future patrons of this particular Red Robin location exercise caution and thoroughly inspect their food, especially considering the dimly lit seating area. While the service was satisfactory, the food fell short of expectations.
Overall, my experience at Red Robin Gourmet Burgers in Whittier, California was not up to par. I hope that the restaurant takes note of these concerns and takes steps to improve the quality...
Read moreOn 9.5.25, the day after my birthday, I came to this Red Robin’s with my boyfriend to be treated to a relaxing nice dinner. It started off unfortunate due to me only having a temporary ID and not being able to get a beer. WHICH I UNDERSTAND!! This waiter was aware and worried over PROTOCOL! But after the fact of the waiter asking the manager, she positioned herself all night to where she was watching to make sure I wouldn’t take a drink of my boyfriend’s beer. It was uncomfortable feeling like I was being watched. Another unfortunate thing happened that made my skin crawl. The waiter thought he had a miss up with giving me a Dr Pepper and another patron a coke, the drink I had ordered. So he had asked me if I got a coke or Dr Pepper. Mind you, you can’t tell the two apart unless you TATE IT!!! When I confirmed it was coke, he took it off the table and handed it to the other customer. it’s PROTOCOL in F&B that anything that has been on a patrons table is now been used. The same waiter that was worried about alcohol protocol was willing to give something drank and used to give to another customer. THATS GROSS AND NOT PROTOCOL! And then to top it off, as we left. The waiter had wished me a happy birthday, confirming he KNEW it was my birthday. Then to my right hand side, as if right on cue, the restaurant started singing happy birthday to someone else.
