"I SCREAM FROM THE TOP OF MY LUNGS, WHATS GOING ON ? "
Ordered food to go again, here is all the mistakes...#1 ordered steak WELL DONE ,came medium rare....#2 ordered steak medium rare came practically raw. #3 asked and paid for 2 extra aus jus for beef dip sandwich, since what you get is too small to dip sandwich in and not enough for dipping purposes. Only got 1 container of juice and it was only half full. Wife checked receipt to verify extra juice. WIFE EVEN GAVE $30 TIP FOR A TO GO ORDER !!! So, apparently, Black Angus STILL can't find cooks that know how to cook a steak at a STEAKHOUSE !!! HOW CAN YOU CALL YOURSELF A STEAKHOUSE WHEN YOU CANT COOK STEAKS TO ORDER ???UNBELIEVABLE. NOW READ REVIEW BELOW FROM TIME BEFORE. SOMEONE FROM B.A. EMAILED AFTER REVIEW BELOW AND I THOUGHT THEY WOULD ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT, LIKE BEING COMPENSATED SOME HOW. NOTHING... COME ON BLACK ANGUS WE ARE TIRED OF THIS BAD SERVICE. DOES ANYBODY CARE AT BLACK ANGUS ? WOULD LOVE FOR MANAGER TO EXPLAIN THIS TO ME AND WITHOUT SAYING " THESE THINGS HAPPEN "... NOT THIS MANY TIMES, BA, NOT THIS MANY TIMES.
My wife and my mother in law like their steaks WELL DONE. Apparently Black Angus does not employ cooks that can cook a steak to order. We get our food to go so the last 4 times, including today, the steaks came MEDIUM RARE. The steaks then have to be microwaved. The manager tells me this "happens ". REALLY? At Black Angus Steakhouse ? Do the cooks take no pride in their work ? It should never happen, PERIOD ! If he can't cook a steak to order, why is he working as a cook in a STEAKHOUSE ???
Somebody at Black Angus please show your cooks this review so they can see the damage they cause. They obviously don't care. And show them the difference between WELL DONE and MEDIUM RARE......Another ruined evening dinner !!! ...
Read moreWe went in for a dinner and we were what I guess greeted by their standards Wich guess are pretty low the manager looked like he was stressed out and angry the greeter never did that on the other hand we were looking at each other like should we leave this woman looked bothered by our presence, we let it go and proceeded to be seated the place was kind of empty couple of covers sitting and the bar full of people watching the game , the server was kind of all over the place had to keep reminding them to give us refills flagging her down being that it was almost empty I was surprised, the salad was a salad as a person that has worked cold station I would toss the salad rather than slap the dressing on top like you are a steak house they did get the cold plate cold dish right 🤷🏼♀️ but the loaded baked potato soup was anything but good . The steaks looked greyish.. if you know about grills it must of been filthy, the baked potato was smaller than my palm Wich I was confused because I've never received such a small potatoes because we ordered more than one , something like chicken fingers shouldn't be ruined especially since my kid was the only child dish how to you have burned tips , yeah oil in frying must of not been changed in a long time , I was disappointed but kept it to myself being didn't want to ruin the birthday dinner wich they never came out with complementary bday song. All in all ways my first time at this location will be the last , the atmosphere was something of an old dining room still opened because of the bar ..very...
Read moreNormally, I'm a fan of Black Angus, especially for their prime rib dinners. Tonight was the first time I placed an order to go. I ordered the prime rib & mud pie. Now, portion wise, the serving size was satisfactory. I got the 8oz, medium-well. My sides were the steak soup, which is another favorite. The prime rib, for some reason, is much better when served on a platter in the dining room. It lacked that savory flavor, which may have been a result of the 20 minute car ride home. Another disappointment was the bread loaf, which again, I normally love! It didn't survive the drive home. By the time I went to unwrap it, it was rock hard; and I do mean, rock hard.
*the takeaway for me is, if you can avoid take out and have the time to dine it, it's worth it. Prime rib to go, was just not worth the $50 price tag.
I also have a slight concern. After placing my order at the bar, I also ordered 2 drinks..and the tender did not change his gloves. The same gloves used to handle card, cash, pens, and receipts.. were used to pour and hand me 2 drinks. I dont understand the purpose of the gloves, if not just to protect the person serving the food, because they did nothing to protect me from the germs on everything handled before my...
