Melrose Vintage — Local services in Whittier

I’ve been coming here since 2015 I can honestly say this my number 1 spot to go for vintage I live in San Francisco and none of the stores in the popular places compare to this one. The price is match to the quality of the piece. They have various sizes and styles throughout out every season. They stay up to date on tread cycles without feeling over condensed. The employees are extremely kind without it being overwhelming. I’ve always received compliments from the things I buy from them! I will say you should definitely ask them when they do their buy (they normally post it on ig) because those days are typically where you see the freshest stock. The price you pay is for quality and I think the individuality of the item imo. They also literally repair the items and wash the items before selling it(they post about on ig). Me and my cousin decided to drive an hour to go to this store because of the way they showed their business on social media. It looked like they had a lot of cute clothes and a large range of clothes. Upon getting there I was very dissatisfied with the clothes. Everything looked faded and cheap. Now I know that the clothes they sell is second hand but you could just tell that most of the shirts/ shorts were cheaply cut up and everything was so overpriced. $14 for a used tube top? I mean come on that’s ridiculous. I love this vintage store in the heart of Uptown Whittier! Great selection of clothes, accessories, and much more. Their prices are fair for the one of a kind vintage find. The staff has always been warm and inviting everytime I've been there. Due to Covid they are taking safety precaution measures by limiting the quantity of people going in. They also check your temperature before entering the store and offer hand sanitizer to use. This shows they care about us as we shop and care about their awesome staff.
