For the past seven years I have been coming to this restaurant and have NEVER been treated like such while visiting. Today August 12th I decided to visit, to start off The Hostess who very kindly seated me and served me, thank you for your professionalism. After being seated, the only waiter serving the tables outside whom just so happens to be my ex-boyfriend refused to serve me, leaving me unattended until the hostess showed up and brought me a menu, THE HOSTESS who is not a server was attending me, clearly because this is not her job I waited a while for my order to be taken, Yet alone 30 min wait for an Egg Croissant with potatoes and fruit. There were only 4 tables being served, me being completely alone was the last person that was served her food. This is disappointing! I’ve always had a lot of respect for this restaurant because even though their service may be very limited at times, every waiter/waitress has always been very welcoming and attentive, this was not my case and due to the fact that I was left unattended for so long I ended up asking the very unprofessional waiter for my check and he very rudely said yes.
The lack of professionalism really upset me, I still tipped the hostess and was very respectful, this created a hostile environment and ruined my experience here, even though the food was delicious always I wish the service could have been more welcoming and...
Read moreWe arrived about 20 minutes before the posted restaurant's business closing time. We were refused service by the waiter named Grant. My biggest pet peeve with businesses is when they do not honor their own hours of operation. Grant said their kitchen was closing. After complaining and addressing their posted business hours, we were seated and attended by a different waiter, who was very nice, but obviously distracted.
We ordered two types of Crepes. Both the green chili with chicken and the chicken pesto crepes were good. The side order of beets with onions was pretty good too. Our coffee, fantastic. And the ban berries crepes a la mode was good too.
The other dish was over cooked and dry. We won't be ordering the prime rib any time soon. The steak could have been possibly cooked in a rush because the kitchen was closing. Nevertheless, we didn't complain as we were happy to be seated. But the steak was not worth $26! Our total bill for 2 adults and a child was $98.
The ambiance is nice and the restrooms are clean. There is outside dining tables available, but no signs of umbrellas to shade you from the sun. There is plenty of 2 hour...
Read moreI did not like anything about this place . First of all prices are very high comparing to other and better places like TASTE in North Hollywood , my husband and I always go out for breakfast on Sunday and we decided to give this place a try , the waitress was not friendly nor attentive I ordered a side fruit "bowl" and I asked her could I have my fruit already she told wait they are barely working on that . When I received my fruit I got even more disappointed the "bowl" was not even 6 inches the price was high and they only served 2 slices of an old apple y 4 old grapes by this time I set my omelet on the side , the dish was wet and stinky the hashbrown was cold and the omelet taste was horrible , I even had to remind the waitress for my set of utensils . My husband ate all his food bc of course we were going to pay but he said we were not going back to this place . The check was of $67 late on we visited Olive Garden not my favorite place but food a little better. We asked for 2 dinners and some wine (desert included ) and our check was of $60 . You guys need to work on food quality and staff...
