I've always had a great time at Chuck-E-Cheese, tonight however was an exception. We were greeted at the entrance by the staff telling us that we couldn't bring our kids cups inside, finally after them bringing their manager, they allowed us to bring only our 2 year olds sippy cup, after we showed them there was nothing inside. After a game ate 3 of our points, I finally found the manager and she proceeded to immediately try to fix the machine, taking about 5 to 10 minutes of my time, finally when our pizza was ready I had to ask her if I could just get a refund, and she took my card to do so. when we ate our dinner, we had a couple oranges and a few grapes and we'd brought in, and when we finished eating we went to go play games, we had left 4 plates out , including a slice of uneaten pizza along with half an orange and a few grapes. At the end of the night, we discovered that all of our plates and my 3 year old son's drink who we were celebrating with have been cleared off the table. The manager informed us that outside food and drink we're not allowed, and that anytime they see a plate with any of that on it they just throw them away. When I simply said that the value of that slice of pizza was about a dollar fifty, the manager told me that, "well, we're closed. It depends on how nitpicky you want to get, because with your coupon, it'd be less." When we left, my son cried because his pizza and drink had been thrown out and he was hungry. I've never seen such horrible customer service at a family establishment. Gone really downhill, we'll be going to the new Dave & Buster's next time...
Read moreThis evening I went around 4 o’clock, haven’t been there in a while since I don’t have kids of my own. I’m a foster mom and recently got some little ones and decided to take them today. We waited by the door for 5 minutes and no one approached us. It was my little ones first time being there and they were excited and couldn’t wait by the door so we went inside and waited by the cash register. We are all standing there and then a lady approach us after 3 minutes and took our temp. And told me we needed to take a selfie because they weren’t doing the stamps anyone and we had to wait by the door next time. I told her we were waiting but no one came so I went inside Since I have 3 kids with me anxious to play. I was next on the cash register and apparently the manager of the store a Hispanic man is the one that told me again I had to wait by the door and they were short staffed and I had to wait until someone came to get us. I told him yes the lady had already explained it to me and I haven’t been to chuckie cheese and this is my first time since COVID happened coming also so I wasn’t aware if they’re regulations. Well he said I gave him my attitude and had to leave because he wasn’t going to tolerate that and he can refuse service. I was calm during this situation and told him “ok”. Left with my children and got his name and told him I’ll be contacting the general manager from the store. I’m sorry but it’s not my fault your having a bad day and your short staffed. Yes I’ll be rude to you if your rude to me. Show me respect and I’ll be...
Read moreWhen we got there we walked to the counter to order food and the teenager assisting just looked at us and proceeded to continue talking to his coworkers instead of helping us. They were talking negatively about a previous customer and even called her names. That is very rude and unprofessional. We finally ordered food and purchased a 2 hour play card for our kids so we could play while food was ready. 5-10 minutes later our buzzer goes off so we pause our play card (only 1 pause allowed) then we get ready to eat. The food they gave us was completely wrong and it was cold as well. The correct food took forever to come and we had to just sit there and wait since we couldn't pause the play card a 2nd time. Food finally arrives, we eat, and begin to play again . I began to count all the games/machines that weren't working and I lost count after 9. The music was EXTREMELY loud to where you almost had to yell in order to hear people speak. My kids ended up getting very tired and cranky towards the end because we had already been there so long. We still had 30 minutes of play left which could have been used if they hadn't messed up our food order to begin with. My husband explained the whole situation to them and they did give us 150 play points to use for next time so we do appreciate that part. Overall it wasn't the best experience and I don't know that I would go back...
