Dillard's Clearance Center — Local services in Wichita

I have never left a review as negative as this one... I thought I'd check it out at this location and spend my Dillard's gift card. Guess what? It's still in my wallet!

The selection is overwhelming. The clothes are not as discounted as one would think for a clearance store. But the rudness of the employees is far worse than I have ever encountered anywhere! Not one said hi, Can I help you? Or have a nice day.

The one employee I had any contact with was the dressing room attendant who worked Friday 4/29/22 at 2 pm (An older woman) she needs to be fired!

When I went to try on clothes she and a younger woman employee were at the dressing room counter talking. They both looked at me standing there and continued to gossip about other employees very is dis-tastefully. I endured this for almost 5 minutes and finally interpreted it with a "Can I just go in?" The older lady stopped and gave me a dirty look because I interrupted and said "NO! You can't just go in!" Very rudely then I said, "Then please do your job" she started to come at me aggressively while giving me the number plaque and while gritting her teeth said I'll take you to the room. She leads me down the hall to a further room (all we're open) and said "This is one of our bigger rooms" insinuating I was fat. I got in, locked the door and looked at those overpriced clothes, and wondered if they were even worth it. I heard her cleaning some other rooms and waited until she was out. When I left she was yet again talking with another employee so I put the plague on the desk and hung the clothes on her rack under the right size tab and left the store.

I will never return and hope her manager...

Love this store! Everything is automatically 65% off the retail price and then there are rotating promotions each week. Last week was buy one get 1 free ladies dresses! This week was get an addition 60% ladies dresses. I got a $138 dress for $13 and some change... can't beat that! Some of the items (really only a few) are slightly damaged like have torn beading or a pucker or makeup stain along neckline, etc. so you do have to check items and try them on because there is a no return policy. The employees were super nice and kind and helpful in explaining the store to me and how they post their news sales each week. It can take some time to sort through things, but everything is sorted by color, size, and category (Ladies Dresses- Large/12/14- Red/ Pinks, etc...) LOVE this store. As a broke college student it's really wonderful to find this amazing store. REAL Dillard's clothes-- not cheap factory ends made specifically for outlets! Love, love, love! I've recommended to all of my family. They have everything-- Women's, Children's, Petites, Teens, Prom Dresses, Sheets, House Decor, Babies, Swimwear, Plus size up to 4 XL, Men's Big and Tall section, a lot morem, and SO MANY SHOES!! (No Wides though- sad!) 5/5 though. Never had anyone be rude or unhelpful in store. Everyone is great and seems to enjoy working/ helping...

I don't visit this place often, but just stopped in while on an indoor walk with my mom at the mall. I can't believe their prices! It's supposed to be clearance??? I remember when Dillard's was just regular Dillard's and they had better clearance prices then this store does. This is just regular prices made to look like a "sale" what a joke.

I will say however they did have a few racks of super marked down stuff like last chance items that were actual clearance prices. But it was few and far between. You'd have to really look to find them. Their shorts were a decent price- at $14 a pair. But again that's not really clearance..... The shoes were cute but 99% of them were heels or platforms it was hard to find flats.

The one thing I did appreciate was everything was sorted by color and that is rare. And their baby clothes are super cute, but higher prices then I would pay normally. If you're looking for an outfit for a special occasion this would be a good place to go but don't expect to get...
