
I was going to get starter locs and the stylist didn't wet my hair when she was doing them locs are inconsistent in size and they used that dark gel. The stylist was nice once I spoke up and had a convo with her. But I sat there for a long time in silence. No one asked if the coils were too tight or ask what size I wanted them. She was very rough with my hair. A comment was made about how healthy my edges were. Well when she made it to my edges i was wondering if I was going to have any left. My head is still sore the following day and all I got were some comb coils. Im going to have to wash and redo them myself like my gut told me too in the first place. Im very dissappointed because i hoped for excellent service and I did not recieve that. Im sad that I can't recommend anyone go there. They are way too rough on my hair and they love the rat tail comb a bit too much for me. What would help in the long run is that they work on hospitality, when a customer walks in smile and say hello don't just stare at them. Also when parting hair they need to detangle the hair with a WIDEtooth comb before attempting to part it also DO NOT rip the hair apart when you cant part through it. I had an appointment scheduled and showed up 20-30 minutes prior to my appt expecting to wait because it wasnāt my time yet and sometimes folks can be behind. When I showed up, the braider looked confused about my appointment. She checked her book and realized I did have an appointment. Then mentioned to me that she was the only one at the shop and I was looking a a customer that just started her hair. The braider looked like she wanted me to call someone to come do my hair. She asked if I can come back tomorrow, which I replied no because I was flying back home the next day. Since she made no attempt to call another braider, I kindly said donāt worry and left. I donāt mind waiting and I donāt mind businesses correcting an error but when you just stand there looking lost waiting for me to decide what you should doā¦Iāll keep my money maāam.
