I went looking for Hot and Sour soup to help with my cold. I should have stayed with Campbell's. Upon entering, the temperature was at about 80 degrees and the floor was unreasonably sticky. I ordered hot and sour soup and a General Tsos chicken fried rice bowl. I also had to pay for a micro portion of chili oil.
Getting home I unpacked the food and a single cheep plastic fork.... the kind that bends when you breathe on it and a single (1) napkin. No spoon even though I purchased soup.
Hot and Sour soup.... not sour.... not spicy.....at all. Sickly sweet with vinegar and no flavor. Texture was like congealed gravy Totally inedible.
General Tsos chicken. Had a surprising good flavor on the chicken...and there ends the good comments. I searched and searched for vegetables and chili pods.... never did find them. What I did find was crunch.... and chewy...and stringy. The chicken was crunchy and yet stringy and chewy, all in the same bite. It defied explanation. The fried rice was so stale it crunched like hard candies.
Oh... the chili oil was soured.... which is a new one for me.
Just avoid.... sad to say Great Wall is better...
Read moreLocation is kind of hidden in my opinion because of all the times I've drove by this area I've never seen it. I was going to another location for lunch when I was forced to make a u turn into a parking lot due to traffic. I looked up and saw the sign and decided to drop in. The food was excellent in my opinion and the establishment very clean and orderly. The prices we very competitive to others of this type of fast food cuisine. Employees were very polite and curiosity. And speed of the service was very prompt. I received my order right after payment was made and was out the door. Food was hot and very delicious in my opinion. I will return to this location for my future lunch endeavors. If you like Asian cuisine I would recommend this...
Read moreBoyfriend and I ordered ahead for dinner. It said 20 min prep time. We stopped at sonic for drinks and then arrived about 25 minutes later to find they hadn't even started our order.
I originally ordered the chicken pad thai, and upon our arrival learned they were out of noodles (or sauce). Nobody called to let us know until after our arrival. I ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl instead. Chicken was dry. The sauce was good and rice was cooked appropriately. However it was disappointing after not having the pad thai and expecting a decent replacement.
My boyfriend had the szechuan chicken and fried rice which were good.
We will try again in hopes next time goes...
