Read moreRestaurant was clean but the entrance doors are poorly place, facing south. So everytime the door is opened, a blast of frigid air in the winter and blazing steam in the summer floods the Restaurant..... i.e. sit as far away from the doors as possible.
Service was fast food style, and you pretty much waited on yourself. You order and pay at the counter. You had to go to the counter and ask for drink refills or pretty much anything else. They do bring your food out to you via a number system.
The complimentary pita and zatar was a surprise...in that it is surprising to get anything free at a lower end restaurantthese days. The pita was fresh and fluffy and quite delicious. The zatar was bland, pretty much lacking in flavor, having purchased it in the past Zatar can be quite expensive so this stuff was undoubtedly cut with something bland to make it go farther. The olive oil on the table had a twang, which generally denotes the cheep stuff.
The gyro hummus was surprisingly flavorful and tasty. The garlicky chicken was juicy in the center but dry around the edges...denoting having been heated a while...but still quite flavorful. The roasted potatoes was a mixture of crunchy and gease soggy....but they tasted good. The pickes and pickled beets were tasty providing a palete cleaner between bites of the main course.
Overall, it is basically a fast food Mediterranean restaurant, no frills but...

While there's a variety of Mediterranean dishes to choose from. I ordered the Shawarmba with 2 sides. Going forward, I think the wrap alone is appetizing. There's a good amount of lamb protein and vegetables. Since I dined in contrast to many others, they serve a complimentary pita bread, which you can dip with condiment olive oil(that was probably what got me full lol). Now, back to the wrap, not only was it appetizing but very flavorful. Particularly in the lamb. I recommended the hummus, nice texture, and flavorful and fresh taste.
While dining, the staff is very attentive. They followed up with me if I'm enjoying the meal. To them asking if I wanted a refill before the glass was empty. They have promising baklava desserts, but I was beyond full at this point. There's a little bar, too, with 2 TVs mounted, good tap beer variety, and shelf liquors. Will...
