Title: A Stellar Experience at the Wildwoods Beach Ball Sign!

Review:

About two weeks ago, I had the immense pleasure of visiting the iconic Wildwoods Beach Ball Sign for the third or fourth time, and it was as enchanting as ever. Positioned prominently on the vibrant Wildwoods Boardwalk in Wildwood, New Jersey, this colorful and colossal sign, spelling out "Wildwoods" against the backdrop of the vast ocean, is a sight to behold and a hotspot for capturing timeless memories.

During my visit, I relished the simple joys of walking around the area, snapping picturesque photos of the beach balls, the signs, and the breathtaking surroundings. Standing tall at 20 feet and stretching out to 100 feet wide, the sign is a masterful creation by local artist Bill Morey. Designed in 1963, it continues to symbolize the fun, excitement, and warm community spirit of Wildwood. The gigantic beach balls, 12 feet in diameter and whimsically inflated with helium, add to the allure, making it a perfect, inviting spot for tourists and locals alike.

But this visit was made even more special. On my second trip to the area, I stumbled upon a delightful gathering celebrating the legacy of the Star Wars character, Yoda. Fans, each clutching beautiful Yoda dolls, shared heartwarming stories of the wise and powerful Jedi Master, echoing his strength and wisdom despite his small stature. The dolls were gathered for a group photo in the middle of the square, adding a unique and unforgettable touch to my Wildwood adventure.

The Wildwoods Beach Ball Sign, known to be illuminated brilliantly at night, not only stands as a testament to the city's vibrant tourist life but also as a cherished emblem of the Wildwoods community, even though I did not get to witness its nighttime allure personally. It's featured on numerous souvenirs and consistently used in the city's marketing materials, further solidifying its place in the heart of Wildwood.

In conclusion, my recent visit to the Wildwoods Beach Ball Sign was undoubtedly a highlight of my summer, filled with delightful walks, engaging conversations, and a unique celebration of a beloved Star Wars character. It stands as a vivid reminder of the joy, community, and timeless appeal that Wildwood holds, making every visit a cherished memory and leaving me eager for the next...

This is for " Oceanic Hotel" This hotel is old and dated. The minimal amount of staff try very hard. They are very hospitable and try to accommodate . The employees are looking forward to the upcoming renovations. Carpets in rooms are very much worn out. Tiles are missing and wall paper falling off. Mold noted in bathroom. The hotel was packed for the week. The pool was full of guests, but we went to the Ocean so no comments there. The hotel at one time had a restaurant, but no more. It does have a bar and a Tiki bar outside, with entertainment on weekends. The kitchen was poorly maintained, plastic silverware, worn pots and pans, cooking utensils were melted. The big thing that was bad the refrigerator took 2 days to get cold ,so we lost a bunch of food that we had just purchased from the local Acme Supermarket. On another good note for the hotel was that it was peaceful, close to Ocean, very safe ,and secure. Accommodated to handicapped people for parking and help getting bags to room,as well as having an elevator. We will look forward to seeing the "New "renovations . The atmosphere was quaint. A sitting area inside as well as chairs and tables outside. Beautiful views of the Ocean from the balconies, and gorgeous skies...

Really cool place to visit but I wish that covid restrictions weren't affecting things the way they are. It seems almost counterintuitive at this point because the way they have things there are lines at restaurants that are are causing over crowding anyway so how does that accomplish social distancing when the beaches are crowded with people too and there are no social distancing guidelines? Anyway, it was a beautiful place to see and visit but it would've been a lot better to have been on the boardwalk and seen it at it's normal running capacity so our kids could've enjoyed it the way it was years ago. We did ride our bikes along the boardwalk, which you can only do until 12 though and the police enforce that rule. You can enjoy the views and find some cool shells, crabs and sea creatures while exploring the beaches along the boardwalk and we did get to see some dolphins which was awesome. The shops have some cool finds too and depending where you stop you can find some decent prices. The monster truck was up and running if you're into that! It looked fun.
