The place was nice, but a bit misleading. It is a motel as all the entrances to the rooms were outside. We were called the two weeks prior because under the assumption the rooms were overbooked and they upgraded us to a Suite. The room itself was all brick with vinyl flooring and carpet. Upon entrance one of the bathroom lights were out and items for the complimentary coffee were missing. We requested a playpen prior to arrival, and were told it would be there. It wasn't there at the room but they did bring it later on so no issues. The pool and hot tub which is located out front and was nice. They also offer a continental breakfast in the morning. Unfortunately for us there was maintenance done in the township and our last night there the water kept coming in Brown. We were told that they would allow us to check out a half hour or so later if it didn't clear up so we could possibly shower. I know this is not the places fault but I would also think that there would be some type of back up contingency plan for these things. Amenities are nice small arcade room located inside, miniature golf course next door and ice cream. They also have Beach accessories if needed or requested.

Located central to everything at the beach end of the famous Rio Grande. Coukd see the Wildwood beach ball sign from the room. Well sized kitchenette suites. More than enough space for 1 person, coukd probably fit 6 people on there easily with 2 double beds and a sofa bed in the living area. Rooms comfortably equipped with flat screen TVs (1 in living area and a 2nd in the bedroom), oversized fridge with top freezer, TWO ac/heat units, daily housekeeping services, and plenty of towels. Kitchenette was fully stocked with plates, bowls, cutlery, etc. Amenities were off the charts too. Heated pool, hot tub, mini golf just outside your door, Khors ice cream at the corner, 2 gas bbq grills, cooking utensils provided, and the lounge OMG! Pool table, fireplace, plenty of comfortable seating, a huge flat screen TV, tons of windows letting the natural light just pour in and offering a fantastic view of the Wildwood sunset. Throw on top you're across the street from the beach and walking distance to Morey's Piers. 10/10 recommend.

We stayed in the “petite room with one queen bed in separate house”. This separate house used to be a B&B behind the hotel, but the hotel bought it out and now it is just extra rooms. We stayed in one of the rooms upstairs which is very simple. It has a ‘queen’ bed, a fridge and a bathroom - and in our case our room had a small balcony which was nice. Nothing extravagant, but it gets the job done if you are only going to be staying for a few days. There are rooms downstairs in the house that are bigger and at least one of the rooms downstairs has a small kitchen. You get all of the hotel amenities - pool, hot tub, lounge area with pool table and large TV, continental breakfast and access to use beach chairs and bikes! Long story short, it’s a very basic room, but it was a great value! The distance from the boardwalk is great, a very short walk! The service was great, they services our room daily without needing to request it. I would definitely stay again in the future

The Starlux Hotel is my favorite place to stay at while in Wildwood. The rooms are uniquely designed and decorated. Almost every room has a kitchenette that is complete with dishes, cookware, and silverware. The room I stayed in also had a balcony. Not all of them do, tho. Which was pretty cool for relaxing and taking in your surroundings without having to leave the comfort of your room. There's nothing like the aroma of the salty sea air, too. The hotel offers about 20 FREE bicycles to rent/borrow during the day as long as you're actively staying at their hotel. They will also provide beach supplies such as beach chairs, beach bags, coolers, and umbrellas to anyone who may have forgotten to bring one or all of those items for FREE!! The bicycles and beach gear borrowing are on a strict First Come, First Serve Policy. Like most hotels in Wildwood, they also have a pool for anyone staying there to enjoy during pool hours. My most FAVORITE thing about The Starlux Hotel is the 'Party Room' that sits between the road and the pool. The party room has a GIANT tv, (with cable) two big 'ol comfy couches with throw pillows and throw blankets to watch the tv from, a fire place (i'm guessing for off season visits? I dunno) and the BEST THING they have is a pool table in the Party Room that you can also use FOR FREE!! You just have to get the balls and cue sticks from the front desk. Oh, speaking of the front desk, they also have a plethora of DVD's to choose from to borrow and watch in your room because every room has a DVD player. If I could give this hotel 10 stars, I would. Also... they are fairly priced, too. No breaking the bank when you stay here. Even during the...

We actually booked this hotel after leaving a very disappointing hotel down the road. We were greeted by the KINDEST staff who was able to answer all of our questions with great advice considering we were traveling with 3 children all 3 and under! The room was refreshingly clean! And clearly sanitized according to COVID protocols. The room was decorated so cute! Our boys loved the lava lamp (and room decor made for great photos lol). Our room had a separate bedroom with two queen beds and a pull out sofa bed in the living room area. There was a small but handy kitchenette with larger than mini but not quite full sized fridge, microwave and full set of dishes and utensils. The pool was clean. I was shocked to learn there was no fee for using their bicycles and they even offered free beach chairs (with mini coolers on the back!) and sand toys!! There was a large indoor area by the pool to use if you wanted a little escape from your room. The breakfast was typical continental breakfast with bagels, donuts, etc. (not a lot of choices) but there are plenty of places close by too! It was very close to the famous Wildwood sign on the boardwalk - just had to cross the street. It took a minute to walk up the boardwalk to reach any shops/games/ride piers but our young boys (and a very pregnant mama) did it! Overall I wish we stayed more than one night because we had so much fun and feel like there was so much more to do! I can’t wait to come...

Hands down this hotel is priced extremely well for only being across the street from the boardwalk. Theresa front desk girl is so sweet and kind and very knowledgeable of the surroundings so definitively take her advice. Our Queen Suite was perfect for my husband & I. No need to bring dishes as they have them in your suite. We had a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, hair dryer plus a safe & iron/ironing board also a DvD. We did not want to leave. This hotel you get free bagel, donuts, cornbread, coffee, tea & juice for breakfast. Also they have EVERYTHING you need. No need to take anything. You can ride bikes for FREE, beach essentials such as chairs, floats etc. The hot tub is awesome great for massages Lol & really hot. The pool is great not over crowded & mind you labor day wknd. They have a hugh fire pit in back w/ large benches, grills in front of dome if you want to have a cookout. A game room on the premises as well as another family room w/ a fireplace. To be honest I thought the lil touch of freshner that is constant in the room was an excellent choice. Was extremely satisfied & we did not want to leave. Thank you for an amazing time & all staff is very friendly. Zero complaints here, was really impressed with how clean the room was too. As we sat in the pool noticed cleaning staff even take the time to disinfect the room doors. Now that is service thank you so much. We will be back in a couple of...
