Sightseers Trams — Attraction in Wildwood

Very disappointed in the tram car this vacation that I had down here for a couple days literally the tram care only went in one direction, even though there was four of them then after an hour and a half you might see another one go the opposite direction. Stopped to talk to a manager, and they disregarded and made excuses for everything. I was explaining to them that the seniors who are walking on the boardwalk, can’t stand around and wait an hour and a half for a train car to go to the opposite direction and perhaps maybe the tram cars should go on one side and then two on the other side and keep moving all day long instead of all four tram- cars, literally going One Direction very disgusted very sad and also no apology was given to me or my girlfriend who has lupus and rheumatoid arthritis and really could’ve used that tram car plus they charge you five dollars for one way. There was absolutely no accommodations or anyone trying to fix or rectify the problem just many many many excuses also from the manager and employees!! I N in a wheelchair scooter myself so I was literally riding on the concrete did not have to move at all literally for an hour and they tried to make an excuse and said they were on a schedule yet. I've been coming down to Wildwood for many years and have rode the tram car for many years however it has gotten a little insane I came down with three other elderly people and over span of two days going in just One direction we had to pay $40 to ride the tram car. There has got to be a way to allow someone to get off and get back on going in the same direction, I'm thinking some type of token they hold up or a card that they hand back to the person so they know they can go again. I understand how people would abuse the system and rip it off but there's got to be a way or give a senior discount on tickets because they're the ones who ride it a lot or give a better discount than $2 off of five tickets that's only a 40 cent savings per ticket, why not sell the discount tickets for $4 and sell more, or update the app so I can figure out if you've been on or off I'm not sure what you could do but for people who need a ride on the boardwalk and can't get around that's a lot of money especially since you can't go in a loop you can only go one way and have to get off on a side note while I'm on my soapbox LOL I think Wildwood could do more to help senior citizens on vacation but I did want to whatever happened to the trolley that used to be great.

I was just in Wildwood the week of July 4th and tram car service was horrible. There were multiple trains going from 15th at the start of the boardwalk toward the piers and crest, but coming back at the end of the night, there were no cars to be found headed toward 15th. I bought tramcar tickets because of bad knees and am suffering from the extensive walking I had to do due to no tram car service. I had one ride by and say they were full which they were not and then no more. I walked from Mariners all the way to 15th and was ready to cry from the pain. My grandson can ride for free until 5 p.m. because he has a season pass. Unfortunately, there were no cars to ride. I learned a valuable lesson this year, don't waste money on tram car tickets because the service is awful. Just rent a wheelchair as it is...
