I am here at a cheerleading competition for my niece. Our grandmother is handicapped with a caregiver. All the handicap seats were taken. I asked a staff member if she could possibly clear out some seats for the handycap as my grandmother could not get up stairs and there was another family with a man who is also handicap. There is handycp signs. The staff member said she can’t that I have to ask people to move myself. How rude considering the fact we paid to get in. All we asked for was one seat. This place is discriminatory towards handycap because apparently handycap can only sit in the back by the ramp where they can’t see even though handycap songs are on the bottom rows. I can’t believe this lady. How rude. I ended up asking people to move getting in a argument then finally they moved. All for a handycap grandma coming to support her great grand daughter and feeling crappy because they treatment that was received. Other than this place was clean and large. Within walking...
Read moreWas at the convention center for a cheerleading competition. Overall it is not a big space. The main area advocates a stage, chairs and bleachers. The ballroom is smaller and only can accommodate 498 people.
The staff was unable to keep up with the amount of people moving in and out. Garbage was everywhere. Areas to walk were crowded. There were few places to sit outside the main arena.
The food was okay. Prices we're reasonable for a convention center but overpriced. There was limited locations for food and staff to accommodate the lines. Typical offerings - French fries, chicken nuggets, pizza, nachos, etc.
Parking is limited and fills fast. The parking staff is not attentive on spaces opening up. It can be worth waiting for the lot to get in depending on what you are there for.
Biggest plus is it is right...
Read moreMy family and I booked a hotel through this venue. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my reservation due to a severe sickness that my child had. We are about 8 hours away so there was no way we would have been able to attend the event or stay at the hotel, he was extremely ill. Unfortunately we were unable to change our booking date or even get a partial refund. This booking was through the Wildwood Convention center for a wrestling event, but they as well as the hotel were unwilling to work with us. Super disappointed about this. I did not expect a full refund but I did expect some sort of willingness to help given our circumstances. I would not recommend booking through this venue unless you are 1000% sure you are able to attend, they will not help not matter...
