Fleming's Engraving — Local services in Williamsburg

For such a long time, I had been working on a project as a gift for my dad. He is a retired marine and for the anniversary of his graduation date, I wanted to give him, not only something useful but also something meaningful. I decided on some Yeti Colsters, which are nothing more than stainless steel, double walled, can insulators and I wanted them laser marked with the EGA, and his regiment insignia. However, Yeti is not allowed to utilize Marine corps trademarks, and trying to find someone, around Richmond, who was either willing or able to produce what I envisioned was a difficult task. After many calls, I eventually came across Flemmings, to whom I was willing to drive out to Williamsburg as from the time they picked up the phone were so kind and down to earth. A very sweet lady named Ms. Paddy, completely understood my situation, and was very informative about their processes and prices. After a couple days, I was able to drop off the materials; and, sincerely, she was such pleasure to speak with in person. I had a couple of questions she was unsure about and she made sure to check with the engraver before giving me a definitive answer. I asked her approximately how long it would take, and she told me it would take about a week. Due to my dad’s schedule, I even asked if it would be possible to pick them up a day early and she obliged me. The prices were affordable, and the customer service was excellent, and their work speaks for itself. My father loved his gift, and after them being so accommodating with such excellent craftmanship, I will be utilizing their services in the future for all my laser marking needs. Update- after my initial review Sydney from Flemmings reached out to me and we discussed what happened and was a huge help. Once I shared my concerns she reassured me that she would be speaking with her staff to make sure nothing like this would happen again. She very very apologetic and I great appreciate it.

When I ordered the bracket the young lady was very sweet and even gave me a discount but that’s where the it ends. She put in pick up day as a Thursday but I went the next day on a Friday and the bracket wasn’t even there it hadn’t been delivered. Mind you I needed it for Saturday for a specialty event. So they told me it would be arriving that day (Thursday) and they would get it done and put it in their mailbox for me to pick up because they would be closed when I got off. Well when I went that evening to get it it wasn’t in the mailbox. I then called first thing Saturday when they opened and they said that they have the bracelet but it’s not engraved and they would call the gentleman in to do it. Also they closed early on Saturday at 11:30 for an event. I luckily made it there just in time to pick it up. Well I just picked up two Jefferson cups for personnel retiring... I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED... WONDEFUL CRAFTSMANSHIP ... the two retirees will not be disappointed and i dont think u would be either with this business ...PREVIOUS POST: I have had a number of items engraved here ... challenge coins hard to find anyone to engrave them ... Flemmings is up to the task and I have been a repeat customer ... recently in addition to challenge coins I had some Zippo lighters engraved ... wow ... definitely NOT disappointed... quality work, on time, excellent service ... I will be back again. Came back again for engraving on two Tree of Life Zippo lighters... as I gave mine away to a deserving soul while hiking in Shenandoah... one for me and the second for a park ranger whom was the best guide and customer service person I have met in decades... cant wait for a retirement so I can try a Jefferson Cup with a DoD shield .. great place .. great people ... quality...
