School Crossing — Local services in Williamsburg

I finally got a chance to visit this store this past May on a trip to Williamsburg. I have placed online orders before. Their selection is amazing! I am an educator of 20 years and this store has a great selection in every category I looked at (teaching items, toys, puzzles, workbooks). They have items it took me years to find (and lots of money in the process of the search). The main reason I wanted to write this review, though, is I was worried to visit after I read the review about the strong scents in the store. I get an allergic reaction myself to artificial scents so I completely understand the other person's review. I almost didn't go to the store. I noticed no strong aroma in the store and I definitely had no reaction (no headache, hives, etc.). My kids and I very much enjoyed shopping...

I'm never going back the people were so rude I bought a pop it ball there last January for 5$ it was terrible quality I opened it in the car and it popped immediately when I barely touched it I walked back and it was 9:00 (which was there closing time) I walked up and knocked on the door politely and she just ignored me I kept knocking and she rolled her eyes at me and walked over and opened the door I explained to her that it popped immediately. I asked is I could trade it in she then again rolled her eyes but said fine but then when she was handing it to me she told me to never pop it on purpose or she would not give me a new one ( when I didn't do it on purpose) I got it in the end but she was so rude if I could give it a...

ALLERGY SUFFERERS BEWARE! The store has a perfume smell like when Plug-ins are in use. I told the owner that she might want to remove them since many people are allergic to them. She replied that many people like the scent as she receives compliments on it. She indicated that she did not intend to do anything about it. I guess she has enough customers that she can afford to alienate the allergy sufferers among us. I vomited in the shrubs outside the store because the reaction was so violent. The smell is REALLY strong.

Other than that :-), the store seemed to be well-stocked. But then I was only in there for a VERY brief...
