My husband and I have bought several pieces of "fine jewelry" from this establishment over the years I had a gold chain that was supposed to have a lifetime warranty on it I also purchased a gold amethyst ring in which the stone crumbled inside of the setting it was a bezel setting so I took both pieces down to be repaired and was informed that the chain was no longer under the lifetime warranty as the company no longer honored that warranty and quoted me a price for repairing the ring. The cashier was not willing to even discuss it or offer me any kind of compensation. The cashier had no public relations or people skills whatsoever. I took it to another jeweler who informed me that yes the company will honor the warranty and they would repair the ring for me. The new jeweler that I went to informed me that jewelry is supposed to be stamped with the carrot of gold content and that my so-called gold ring from Petros had no stamp on it. I believe their jewelry is not authentic nor is it an honest business. I will never shop there again. Petros was our go to jeweler, loved their jewelry and it is reasonably priced. The last experience I had was a bad one and never deal with them again. I went there for a wedding band for my wife. She didn't like any in the display case so the guy that was working said " I have one in the back that a lady has here for cleaning, you might like that." So she did like it and we bought it, he told us it would take 2 weeks to make and they would call when done. So it took 3 weeks and they gave us the ring that was in the display case that she didn't like. I figured, no biggy they'll correct it, pretty simple. Nope they lied and told me that it was miscommunication and that ring wasn't what they planned to sell us?????? I have bought several pieces of jewelry from Peteos and must say they offer the best at the best prices… beautiful gold and silver handcrafted jewelry…. always looking forward to their sales… wouldn’t go anywhere else… so many compliments on their jewelry… love this store… if u want the best… don’t go to the rest… they stand behind what they sell…...
