I have become disabled from a stroke in the past 2 years. I have been to the CAC many times over the years and always had a great experience. Last night I was told I couldn’t take my hand bag in that was only slightly larger than the new regulations. I would usually carry a small wristlet just to carry my money, and they always had people there to check your bags. Well last night I had a handbag because I had new prescription bottles I needed to take with me. I only had my wallet, my phone, and my 2 different medications in my purse. They absolutely refused to let me carry my handbag in, even though I pleaded with them to let me. They said it was their new regulation and I could put my bottles and contents in my shorts pocket. I asked if they at least had a plastic bag I could put my contents in and they said no, not until September. In the balcony, the seats have very narrow hip space and non-existent leg room. Before the show, during intermission, and after the show you could hear people talking about how cramped and uncomfortable the seating was. I was in pain the entire show, and the seats left marks on my hips.
If you are a large bodied person, I strongly urge you to avoid the balcony seating, but I don't know if the main floor seating is any better, . Given the cost difference for tickets on the main floor, I would consider going to another venue...
Read moreFirst time experience. Be careful of seating!!! Heads up if you are tall or even a little on the bigger side. Pick an end seat! The seating is extremely ridiculous. There is hardly any room. If someone is sitting beside you your elbow is in their space. Your knees are touching the seat in front of you. So while you're trying to watch & enjoy the show you paid for you have to make sure you don't bump anyone around you. The staff was very helpful! Since I didn't know the seating was when I bought our tickets. I ask if there was any other available seating on the end cap. The lady understood me and for me and my husband new seats. Thanks to her we were able to watch our...
