Having a person stand out by the drive-through menu-bord/speaker to take my order. The girl got upto close to my door and window. I told her please step back. I ask her way do you keep getting so close up? Because she couldn't hear me. It kind of freaks me out I don't really care for that I don't know why Wataburger is doing this especially here in Willis Texas we have been under heat advisories for several days now. And it's not very cool that A person is standing In the drive-through. I feel sorry for the employees that has got to do this. I really don't believe you would ever find anybody at the corporate office willing to do this out in this Texas heat.. Businesses are already having trouble keeping a full staff of employees. All I could ask myself did anybody at corporate even graduate Elementary school? Because it is not cool seeing someone dripping of sweat.. So yes this was freaking me out I really really do not like anybody standing outside taking my order in the heat breathing in carbon monoxide. I like reading the menu and then making my decision. Then I can see and hear if I plased my order correct. This morning I happened to say " sausage biscuit for 2 . I really meant to say "2 sausage gravy biscuit meals.. I pulled forward to the 2nd window as I was told. As I waited on the car in front of me I decided to pay with my credit card. So not to brake a large bill. The Whataburger employee asked me why I didn't pay at the order taker? I said because I was not ready. I had to pull my card out. I wish they would us the 1st window for us to pay and 2nd window to pickup... That would be less chases of...
Read moreIt is a sad day! The sign still says Whataburger but it's not Whataburger. I am here to report a Texas Legend is DEAD. This review is not based on one experience or one location but a lifetime experience with a fast food chain that used to excel head and shoulders around the rest. A noticeable decline over the past year. Do the burgers have less meat or are they are buying bigger buns? They are cooking less meat longer periods resulting in burger patties that resemble West Texas Cow Paddies... flat and dry! Vegetables used for be fresh and tasty and now can be compared only to McDonalds where your tomato tastes like a pickle and your pickle tastes like an onion and the lettuce is not the leaf of the plant people usually eat but that other part we usually throw away after tearing off the leaf. Customer Service used to be an integral part of the employee training so much that you would think you were at a fine dining establishment and not a fast food place. These days don't expect to be greeted or told thank you for dinning with us. When I used to go to Whataburger Drive Thru I would not even think "did they get my order right?" These days check everything before you leave because your order is wrong most of the time. They were bought by another company a while back and I guess that company does not care or understand how great Whataburger used to be. Im done not going there anymore it makes me sad. The sign still says Whataburger but it's...
Read moreStood in the lobby with 3 groups of people already taken care of for 5 minutes. The shirt leader on duty literally looked at us didn't say anything and turned right back around. Three other team members looked our way and quickly looked away. Not one time did anyone say we will be right with you. They ignore us until I loudly asked is someone going to acknowledge the customers in the lobby. Then here comes Kitty the only employee working the front who was making shakes for 2 people standing to the side waiting on their order. She instantly apologized but it still didn't make up for the blatant disregard by the other 4 employees(including the manager on duty named Rocky) FYI Jose(GM)he isn't manager material and if you think he is maybe you should reevaluate what is management material. Customer Service is the number one most important thing in any service industry. He has NONE! This was definitely the last straw for me at this location. I will now only go to the 105 location where Doug and Kevin manage. They train ALL their employees to acknowledge the customers and let them know someone will be right with you. If you are thinking about eating at the Willis location, drive a little further up the road to 105 and Doug and Kevin will take...
