Pride Factory — Local services in Wilton Manors

Hello Wilton manors, my name is Marco Rosenberg. Im a Canadian snow bird who’s been coming to south Florida since the 80’s, and Pride Factory since they have opened. Today after recently visiting Pride Factory unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The atmosphere was marred by inattentive and uninspired employees who seemed more engaged in casual conversations than assisting customers.

My dissatisfaction extends beyond the staff to the management, particularly Manager Mike and apparent store manager Mark. I observed inappropriate behavior from Manager Mike, including staring at my partner and using questionable language. The professionalism of Mark, if he is indeed the store manager, is questionable. Witnessing him berate employees with offensive language was disheartening.

The turnover rate of employees, as evidenced by at least 20 new hires last year, speaks volumes about the working environment. It's clear that the management needs to address these issues to create a more positive and welcoming atmosphere for both customers and employees.

My partner and I have decided not to return to Pride Factory and hope for positive changes in management. Constructive criticism can lead to improvement, and I encourage the store's owners, especially Lori, to consider addressing these concerns for the betterment of the...

I visited this location today. I must state up front, I am an international Mystery Shopper. For those who have not been involved in retail, a mystery shopper is a person that as their job they visit specific retail locations, act like a regular custom and then file an online report back to the retail organization ALL that they experience so I have a good idea of what I am talking about. I work the likes of Tiffany & Company and other high-end retailers that in many cases require an appointment to visit their retail location.

From the moment I walked in, I got a very clear impression that my presence was not all that appreciated. I asked about one item while 2 sales associates hovered around me and then asked if I could look around. During the entire time one associate “tailed” me.

None of the staff knew that I had $100,000 of buy power in my napsack.

Bringing things down to the basics. All of the staff on duty today need to be trained in or re-trained in proper customer service / interpersonal skills. The attitudes have to go. I always love going to this shop. There is always a few tucked away clearance racks with a great find on them. The staff are always friendly and willing to help. Bags brought into the store are usually stored for you at the main center cash, so that you have your hands free to shop! They have a huge assortment of the popular brands of jocks and underwear and an amazing assortment of the swim wear. If your timing is right you might even get there when they have their annual sale where there are bins of swimsuits and underwear all sorted by size and marked down considerably. In the back they have a large assortment of adult toys, DVDs and their lube is always at a very good price. Most of the other patrons are equally friendly and I've experienced one or two willing to give you their thoughts on that jock strap you've just tried on, with a smile.
