Horrible business owner! I booked a party in January 2020 and gave Melanie $100 upfront for a party in April 2020. Due to Covid in March 2020 I was told she could not have the party at that time. Melanie messaged me and gave me dates in July 2020, but it was still not safe with Covid at that time. She told me she could not refund the $100, because it will hurt her business. That is all she has told me over this whole time, is she will have to close her business if she has to give refunds. Melanie's business does extremely well and she makes tons of money. Melanie told me that I have had plenty of opportunities to use my $100 and she is wrong about that. People just started getting vaccinated in January 2021, but because her business was opened back up in June 2020 she feels that she is dictating to me that i should have used my credit back in 2020. Communication is not great here. I purchased some items online, and was told I could pick up during any of the listed class times. Great, or so I thought. There was a class until 8:30pm this particular day, and I drove 45 min to pick up. However, when I arrived at 8 pm there was no one there. I was later told that they had finished early and left, and that I should call or message to check. Well, that's not what your pick up instructions said! I wasted 1.5 hours of my time plus gas to just have to return another time since they were not open when they said. Their classes seem nice. The blanket class was thorough and enjoyable. Not impressed at all with the customer service. Purchased something online, asked several times when I could pick up the items with no response. Specifically asked several times about a time when it appeared they were open. No response.
