Definitely a fun place! I drool over the rockets and magic and that isn't even their strong points! The selection of good is well beyond in uniqueness of the standard stuff you might find in a standard toy store or places like Target. I've found the owners to be very friendly and fair with people. For adults, visiting the store is like taking you back to your childhood.

The name of the store clues you in to what their primary focus is. Expect to find kites, juggling supplies, flying discs, and other such. That doesn't stop them from carrying more unusual items like a lamp reminiscent, but bigger, of lava lamps, but with big jellyfish instead. See if you can find the full-sized Batman!

Their customer service is excellent! I contacted Drew by email, explaining we had bought 2ea 6 1/2' Delta kites and spike spools from him 3 years ago at kite fest at Sherando and wanted another one same size and an 11' Delta, new winding line reels, tails, etc. He and I exchanged multiple emails, during which he dialed down to exactly what we wanted and answered all our questions, offered options, and always very friendly. We went into the store this evening to pick up our kites and accessories. We were greeted with a smile. The store was well lit, it has lots of merchandise in different categories, nice atmosphere, etc. I guess anyone can have a bad day and thus maybe the customer experience wouldnt be as nice, but i didn't see or hear anything similar the few negative comments in some other ratings. We were very happy and If we need anything else will return...

I have always loved this store, been a customer for the past decade and I make it a point to buy things everytime, but yesterday I was very offended. The employee, who was not the sweet lady at the register, but the one who followed us trying to be inconspicuous, but so obvious. He gave an offensively rude look when my Autistic child accidentally moved a rack by an inch, and he stops and moved it back. I said sorry, but he ignored me and walked away. It's difficult for us to shop as it is, and I don't need anyones inconsiderate rudeness to be put bluntly. You're blessed we still spent money...Period. Get rid of that employee and I'll bet your customers...
