I have become OBSESSED with VS lately! I started shopping online, but that's VERY difficult unless you already know the scent or fit of a particular item. I like going into a store so much more because of that reason. Although, online shopping does have a much better selection than stores do, with their limited space.
So I went to this store yesterday to return and exchange some online purchases of perfume, body spray, slippers, and a bustier. The employee i dealt with were very friendly and helpful. She spent a lot of time helping me find scents I liked in the size I wanted (which they did not have because it was on sale), and was VERY knowledgeable on them, despite the fact she'd only been there a month!
It seems like the sales associates on the floor have good communication with supervisors because of the headsets they wear, so if there's a question about an item or sale, etc, they just push a button on the headset and immediately talk to someone instead of trying to find one.
The only problems I had to prevent 5 stars is that after waiting in a line that was nearly out the door (9 days till Christmas) they couldn't return my items because their online return processing thing wasn't working right then It was yesterday, but not today. So if I returned an item I would get a receipt and the actual money wouldn't go back into my bank account until the warehouse actually received it back and registered it into their system! And they had no idea how that would take! That didn't really seem legit to me. Of the 4 things I went there to do (exchange perfume, body spray and slippers, and return the bustier) the only thing I could do was exchange the body spray! Due not having things in stock and their system being down. Not really their fault tho.
I recommend the store, it's fine, but not around Christmas. I'd kinda rather shop online to have a better selection, more stock, no standing in line, BUT you HAVE to already know your size and scent preferences! I DONT like paying shipping fees tho, and I like to have my items right away, not wait forever for shipping! I'm not too sure about return shipping, I've never done it, but I think I'm going to have to to get what I want.
VS in general has great prices, when you catch the sale, or get the coupons for free panty with any purchase, or $15 off $45 purchase, or free bag or blanket with $75 purchase, or know the promo code for online purchases. I don't like that you can only enter 3 promo codes in the checkout, per purchase. My thermal pj's ran very large tho, but I haven't washed and dried them yet, so they may shrink, I hope. The products are made well and very beautiful. Once I was fitted and knew my size I was able to buy 2 very different, very beautiful bras online that fit perfectly! ย ย ย Read moreI was in town this past weekend. My husband and twin daughters were also with me. The store manager made a joke away him offering him to wait outside while I shop. We all laughed and I continued to shop. About 5 minutes later that same store manager came up to me and asked if I needed help. I said, "yes"! I had a sports bra in my hand already. I liked for the card that is given out by VS to help you remember your size. I showed it to her and she says,"oh this is easy to small for you". She took it out of my hand did not offer to help find the correct size and walked away. A few minutes later I asked her did they have any shirts with sequence on them. She pointed towards a area that had a mix of long and short sleeves shirts. It was the combination of her actions, words and body language that made me stop looking for items and check out. I took the few items had up to the register and left. The sad part is I'm a Angel Forever member and spend about $500 a month in store. Never before have I been treated so badly. Maybe it was because of my race I would like to think not but actions do speak louder then words! Soooo back to Atlanta to spend my money and be treated...
ย ย ย Read moreI was just in Apple Blossom mall at Victoria Secret, I was given minimal assistance in locating the item I came to purchase. Once I approached I was directed to go to another part of the store, to locate my item. Not assisted but the representative pointed her finger versus escorting me or asking if I needed assistance. After I found the item I was looking for I asked the lady for a different size she explained there weren't any. I grabbed the item and went to the check out. No one was there so I waited patiently without asking for anyone, cause I knew someone would see me or come to the counter. After about 2-3 minutes a representative came back, with another customer (Caucasian male). The representative walked behind the counter and the other customer walked right in front of me. I waited for the representative to say, I will be with you shortly there is a customer here waiting. Instead she asked, me to step to the side and proceeded to check the man out.
