Placed 2 orders online - 1 order was "not processed" but the money was taken from my account. second order was processed; so we called the store to have Larry put us on hold (basically left the phone on the counter) for over 15 minutes. So we proceeded to the store to not find our food and for Larry to tell us that the 3rd party system is down and they don't have any orders, yet I was holding the confirmation page with the order # and the order information in my hand. Showed it to Larry who showed his Assistant Manager (Didn't get her name and referring to me as a kid to his assistant manager. Buddy, I'm not a kid and thats profiling. Don't assume!) who told me "You did not pay Firehouse, you paid GrubHub" and so I need to contact GrubHub to get my refund. So when GRUBHUB PAYS THEM for my order # that was approved and money taken from the account - they can't offer to look at the order information to make the subs? NOPE! They want to argue why its not their problem. That's fine, and it's also theft and because I know the establishment has cameras; I will be contacting my lawyer to sue them for the theft and the misconduct. And use the "we were busy" excuse as to why Larry placed the phone down on the counter for 15 minutes and forgot about the person who had called. Considering, when I went to the location - there were 2 people making the sandwiches... Correction, there was a male making the orders while the female stood behind him twiddling her thumbs. This establishment is always slow and dirty. This is by far the WORST firehouse subs ever! No wonder I keep getting phone calls from Firemen and EMT's to donate! Sad thing is, I am a...
Read moreFrom the last time I reviewed to today. Service and over all orders have gone done hill. Today of all days yes was very busy. I understand that however; I brought to the attention of the clerk that they were out of sweet tea. They made tea and never added the sugar to it. I had to select another drink option and I do not drink soda. I had also paid for the upcharge of a large wanting tea as I normally get. Additionally we waited 30 mins to get our order. The subs were cold and sloppy when put together. I have gone there enough to know how a salad is to be properly prepared and as of late it has not been properly done. I requested for ranch dressing for my salad as it was a to go order. No dressing. My daughter's kids sub was the put together very sloppy as well. I cant wait to see how my husband sub is put together. And after all of that and trying our best to being understanding and not complain it took someone who was dining in, who came in after me and my husband to say something and we finally get a card for a free sub to "make up" for the wait. I have a feeling that if nothing was said nothing at all nothing would have been done. Over all becoming very unsatisfied with...
Read moreThere I was. Firehouse Subs- a place of magic and whimsy. A soft, bready breeze carried me into this house of dreams. It had been a long shift at the Detective Agency, I had tried to solve this dame’s murder, but to no avail. I was dejected- down on my luck. I almost gave up completely- then I saw the Firehouse Subs sign. I waltzed in, and the staff treated me like royalty. Whether it’s because they knew I was the best sleuth in the state or the Sherlock Holmes of modern-day America- it matters not. I asked for the cashier’s recommendation. She smiled at me and proceeded to give me the most mind-blowing, toe-curling, scrumptious, nail-biting sandwich recommendation. It was so good, it made me wanna transform into a werewolf. I did- and the staff paid me no judgment. The food was the best I’ve had in years, and the young employees are going places. Any negative reviews you’ve heard about this place are from the Russian KGB and are false. P.S- No I did not solve her murder. One of the fine young men complimented my fedora and my trench...
