Oxendale Auto Outlet is the place to go for exceptional service, quality work, and customer care. If there were a way to rate this business a 6 stars out of 5, I would instantly. All of these hard workers deserve the extra star for going the extra mile to get us back on the road as safely and as efficiently as possible. My boyfriend and I, Hayden, are driving from California to Kentucky and we ended up breaking down in Flagstaff, Arizona first. We took our car to an auto shop in Flagstaff and paid to have work done. We picked it up the next day and started driving again, expecting everything to be fine, just for it to break down an hour later in Winslow, Arizona. In the small town of Winslow, there weren’t many options to choose from for auto care, but we took our chances with Oxendale Auto Outlet and ended up striking gold! Without the help and care of Thomas at Oxendale Auto Outlet, we would have been stranded in Winslow without any direction. He was able to order the part needed for our car immediately and had it installed in the car the next day without any issues whatsoever. Thomas was accommodating and considerate, ready to tackle any problem we were faced with. I couldn’t imagine what we would have done without the assistance of Thomas in our time of desperation. He also fixed our air conditioning at a last minute request because it had been out for the whole extent of our travels and we were extremely hot in the nearly 100 degree weather without it, but thankfully Thomas and Robert were able to help us out! Read moreMy husband recently traveled from WY to Phoenix, AZ to purchase a vehicle from a dealership. On his way back to WY, by the time he got to Winslow, the check engine light came on and it was not safe to continue driving long distance. After much back and forth with the dealership, it was arranged for them to pay to have it fixed in Winslow. Oxendale was able to order the parts and get it fixed a few days later. Unfortunately, after leaving Winslow, another 200 miles later, the check engine light came back on requiring him to return to Winslow and take it back to Oxendale for an additional part, but the part was special order and not readily available. After already having been in AZ for an extra 4 days, this was very upsetting to hear as he couldn't miss anymore work. The service manager, Thomas M.'s spouse, drove to flagstaff and back that same afternoon to get the part so my husband could get back on the road to WY that evening instead of waiting several days for the part to come in. He had no issues for the trip home. Thomas called my husband the next day to make sure he made it home safely. We can't thank Thomas, his spouse and staff enough for the help they provided, they truly went above and beyond and we are so very grateful. At drop off on my scheduled appointment I also mentioned I was interested in one of their vehicles on the lot, and would like to know an appraisal value on mine, etc...
When I went to pick up I was a little surprised at the cost, as an oil change there is apparently the same exact cost as a Dealership in flagstaff. $110 for an oil change only. No tire rotation. I mentioned that Winslow Ford (right next door) offers the same service, with tire rotation, for $65. The guy behind the counter said I must be getting a deal. I told him its actually the price on their service menu on a board behind the counter.
He continued the conversation arguing that Winslow ford makes you wait all day. So I then asked him why it does at Oxendale as well? I had an APPOINTMENT at 9am, and did not get a phone call till 1pm. For just an oil change....
They also had nothing to say about the vehicle I was interested in.
Update: Also immediately after the service, I noticed our vehicles brake light bulb out. I've seen on other reviews they don't check simple things like tire pressures when a vehicle is in for service, and apparently not...
