Walmart Auto Care Center — Local services in Winslow

I would not recommend this place at all. I went to them because I was in a bind with a tire; I put in a plug to get me to a service center. Well, getting into this place was one thing. The lady outside said they didn’t have any tires in stock that would fit my car. Ok, but your website says differently. I was then directed to order online and it would make the entire situation easier. Ok, well I just came here from a break down and my phone is dying, shame on me right. I went in to buy a charger and asked the guy behind the counter at the Auto Desk, long and behold they do have it in stock…… ok, how do I get them installed? Oh, come back around and we will put you in line. Ok, people make mistakes; it is what it is. Got checked in and 2 hours later they come tell me they can’t put the tire size I requested before the plate tag calls for 18’s. Sir, these are aftermarket 20inch rims! You want to sell me useless tires that I can’t even mount? I’m beyond dumbfounded because I’m asking for it to be replaced with the same size…. A manager got involved and told the tech they can’t sell tires that won’t fit and to replace it with the same size, like I said. 45 minutes later, I’m told there is an issue because the rim had two valve stems. Ok, cool yes the rim is a performance rim but the tire changes the same… They had to have a big meeting to discuss this! 30 minutes later I’m told they can’t get a clear answer so they are going to refuse service. Ok, 4 hours wasted and everywhere else closed for you to figure this out….. I told them ok, give me my keys so I can leave. I’m still waiting here, 45 minutes later for them to put my tire back on so I can leave!!! This place is horrible. I try never to leave negative feedback, but this is stupid. They just came and asked if I’d still like to buy the tires….. why would I buy a tire if your telling me it won’t work for my vehicle? These people cannot buy a clue. STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE, even if your in a bind. Let’s do how long I wait for them to release...

So i went there after calling to make sure they could get me in, I told them my car and everything they said I was good to go to just show up they didn't need to know the car details now. So i get there, and the lady helps the person behind me before me. It appeared they were friends. Then, when I was finally helped, they said they didn't have the type of oil for my car and that I would have to pay shelf prices, which was double the amount. Not having a choice, I went along with it. When i was done shopping, I hadn't received anything saying my car was done, if there were any issues durning the prices nothing, so I asked they said it was completed and outside but that my air filter needed to be changed. I said "okay can I get that done now?" The technician said "well it's already outside." The manager that was there stepped in and said "yes we'll get that in for you."Low and behold, they're out of the air filter as well, so I couldn't get that either. I left paying more than I should and upset because I was not being updated as to needing the air filter before they took my car outside. If they're out of something, that should not be the customers' fault, and we shouldn't have to pay extra because someone didn't keep that oil in stock. I was considering using this place as my normal spot, but I'm rethinking my options now due to my experience. I would not recommend this to my family or friends, so save your time and money and go somewhere else or do it yourself. Not once did any of them even apologize for any of the issues I had. Horrible experience at this location. I spend a lot of money at Walmart only to be treated like a crook. I purchased 2 60k mile tires that lasted 6k miles .I go back and was given 3rd degree, and up charged for 80k mile tiers. Both times was charred for lifetime balance I never agreed to. Those tires lasted 8k miles. I was on a trip out of town so went to another Walmart. When they contravention this store they came out saying it's my car and they won't honor any warranty or insurance I paid for. They said to drive on bald tires in rain to a mechanic in a town I dint know on a Sunday, if nothing wrong then we talk about what they'll do. Needless to say couldn't find mechanic and had a blow out next day.i finally got a shop to do check on car and they said it's not my car. The Mansfield said to bring in that letter to close store and they see what they could do.
