I do not recommend this place AT ALL. Very unprofessional and rude to me in front of other customers. For background information I donât usually get my nails done, but I just wanted to treat myself for once. I donât know much about nail shapes and so I asked for input on what I should get and the lady who did my nails (aka the manager/owner) gave me ZERO response so I just went with square nails. The whole process of her doing my nails was very rushed and when I asked about how I was charged so much, they had an attitude with me and I was rushed to pay so I had no time to process how my nails looked, which is why I couldnât mention it on that day. When I looked at my nails more, I noticed thickness and lumpiness in my acrylic (she mentioned that it would be thinner since it was gel beforehand), significant differences in the acrylic AND splotches in the polish. I paid $10 extra for a design that looks like my 5 yr old sister did?!? And theyâre not even symmetrical or the color I wanted. I went back in the store to try to get it resolved and the manager/owner disregarded all of my concerns and claimed there was âno lumpiness or patchesâ and that âshe could only file them downâ. She has told me that the splotches would âgrow outâ?? On Monday, I also suggested that the issue of splotching might be related to color vibrancy, not that I received the wrong color. However, it seemed there was a misunderstanding, as I even asked how much it would be to do a color change, assuming it would be an additional charge. My friend's presence was to offer support, suggestions, and provide input, as she has more knowledge about nails than I do, so she was speaking for me. Lily completely ignored what my friend was saying and rudely asked her âare you done talking?â and completely ignored her the rest of the time IN FRONT OF A CUSTOMER. She started to raise her voice at us and tried to justify about how my nails looked and refused to refund. I also want to clarify that my dissatisfaction wasn't about seeking free services but rather about the overall experience and lack of trust in the service provided. Despite feeling frustrated, I tried to maintain a respectful tone during our interaction, until it seemed efforts were made to justify mistakes and ignore apparent issues. While I expressed frustration during our interaction, I did so without resorting to using profanity, except for a couple instances where I slipped up. I apologize for any offense caused by that, as it was not my intention to use disrespectful language. I regret for any frustration that may have arisen during our interaction. My intention was not to escalate the situation, but rather to express the emotions I was feeling in response to the treatment...
Read moreI recently got my nails done at Best Nails and I was truly disappointed in my service. I was recommended by a friend (she purchased me a gift card) so I assumed the service would be awesome but it was bad. I came on a Thursday at 10am, I had regular polish on my nails (red) and the service I came in for was SNS. Someone (maybe a receptionist as she wasnât a nail tech) took the polish off of my nails and said someone would be with me shortly. Lily asked what service I wanted and I shared with her SNS. She also asked how did I want the shape of my nails and I said round as I donât like square nails. Guess what shaped she gave me? Square and thick nails. She said they looked natural this way, which is far beyond looking natural. I thought I would receive a manicure prior to SNS (cleaning fingernails, cutting my nails, cleaning the cuticles, etc) no of that was done. She literally painted the SNS on my nails with a brush and I was done in 15min. Lily did not use a small drill under my nails as it was SNS gunk under them. Also not to mention, my red polish was still around the edges of my nails as she didnât ensure she removed it properly (she didnât even attempt to remove the old polish). Iâm writing this review because I was in the nail shop for 20 min and spent $45 of my gift card for ugly and horrid looking nails. My nails lasted maybe 4 daysâŚthey were chipping and just not good at all. They are not the best nails ⌠no cuticle oil and no proper maintenance at all on my nails. I hope people know that they are other options because this is not the place to go to. This process was rushed and most importantly Lily did not do a good job on my nails. I will never return to the establishment. The only thing I was happy about was not spending my own money but the gift card. I have $5 left and I literally will not...
Read moreWalked in on a Thursday afternoon and it was somewhat slow. A man (who works there) was lounging in a pedi chair. Eventually, he and another man left.
I don't often get mani/pedis (maybe once every 5 years. Yeah!) but I know what a great job is. All I wanted was a cleanup, no polish. The young girl who did me did a not-so-great job. She was very quiet for my feet (which is good), and took her time. But in the end, my toenails/cuticles don't look any better. For my manicure, she kept talking to her sister, who was helping a customer next to me. Everything she did on my hands was just nonchalant and half hearted. They were nice enough, but it was obvious they didn't want to be there.
I also got my eyebrows waxed, and I waited for Jenny to finish someone's nails, about 10 minutes. She waxed and plucked, and then penciled in and explained that I needed to grow them out to get the shape I wanted. Very helpful.
I walked in at 3, out at 4:30. I can't vouch for the cleanliness of the instruments they used, but the overall store was fairly clean. I'll come again to do my eyebrows, but I'll go elsewhere for my nails, or maybe ask for one of the slightly older ladies...
