Let me start by saying this restaurant was not always so hit and miss. I go to Taco Bell about 3-4 times a week whether it’s the University Hanes Mill location (best location) or this one. Today, the manager by the name of Licia Carter (whose name is actually Alicia- what manger puts their nickname on a managers plaque smh) was extremely rude and tried her best to humiliate and downgrade me. This circumstance occurred at Happy Hour, and my frustration came from the Freeze machine ALWAYS being down. I was first speaking to Shirley- whom is typically accommodating. Then, “Licia” stepped in with a very condescending tone and attitude. She rudely asked me to leave the location because she felt I was being rude. I never cursed & I never got loud, all I was doing was explaining that every time I come in at Happy Hour the machine is down for defrost. I told her I come in there almost every day and it’s a issue that I travel over 4 miles for something that’s always down. As the customer I feel I have every right to voice my concerns and frustration, especially when I spend so much. My orders aren’t just $2 here $3 there. It’s typically over $15 so I believe my voice matters. I initially moved on from the subject and tried to place my order and Shirley and Alicia both refused. It was so embarrassing and uncalled for, very abusive to power. So I said I’ll wait, Alicia says she has all day and I mentioned I did as well. I just at least wanted to order my food being I traveled there... She then said she would call the police to have me removed. At this point, I’m still not yelling or screaming; I promise you guys! The irony is she was yelling and screaming. Telling me I’m not going to come in there and tell her how to run her restaurant... I said please, call them and I sat and waited. They never came. While I sat I did speak with the corporate office and now I’m home and I am writing this review. I did call back to get some more information. Spoke with Dedrick and he was extremely pleasant. He apologized, explained the circumstance and how they could look into doing better. I think I remembered his voice from going through the drive thru and I immediately remembered how his level of customer service was why I kept coming back - even when I was told the machine was down or I had some other type of food quality issue. At that point I would speak with Britney the shift supervisor/ manager in the evenings and she is also amazing. The other manager, the guy with the long hair is awesome too.. when he is working the vibe is always upbeat. It reminds me of the California Taco Bells; which is the reason why all the way in North Carolina I expect to get the same experience I always received in the home locations. Alicia Carter do not exemplify in my opinion, the qualities of leading a restaurant some people portray to be more than just tacos and burritos. The location of this restaurant enables it to always maintain great business, Winston Salem should have it no other way. The North Point location was shut down for the same type of behavior Alicia Carter displayed today. She didn’t know who I was, I could’ve been the owner of the company itself Taco Bell and Burger Busters Inc whom sometimes own and franchise these locations out. I’ve spoken with the district manager in the past, and she is also hit or miss. She seems to care but it’s condescending on a empathetic level. Management is very important, managers have to drive the ball to the net and grant the team endless wins in the end. After reading the reviews before my current one on this platform; it sheds much light on the issues of this location. Who is going to step up to fix the concerns. Alicia Carter- Store Manager, I thank you for showing me the reason why I will never come back to this location....
Read moreMy wife is 5 months pregnant and was craving nachos after a long day out with family. This was the closest place to us on the way home and we chose to give it a try since neither of us have been to a TacoBell before and it seemed fair for us to assume they'd have said snack. When we got to the order speaker, the lady asked for our order but I let her know we needed a minute to look at the menu. While browsing not even 5 seconds had passed and we were being rushed along and not to mention the woman's sweet tone faded. She even had an attitude repeating our order back in the end and also we were the only car in line. Morgan T. is the employee who took our order. We pulled up to the window and my wife wasn’t too happy about Morgans attitude and neither was I. We paid and went home not wanting to cause her more “unnecessary annoyance”. When we unpacked our bag, the nachos and jalapeños my wife craved for were not packed! $4 of our $21 order was missing. We aren’t the type of people to write reviews just because but with this being our first and last visit to Taco Bell and it being very unpleasant because of Morgans irritated attitude towards us, we’ll leave this here! We understand having difficult days, we’ve worked in fast food before, but never let that bad interaction transfer over onto other customers experiences. Do better Morgan. If you’re going to catch an attitude with customers and rush them along make sure their order is correct in the end to avoid unnecessary reviews like these for...
Read moreI see they have a rating of 3.5, and now I understand why. I'm sure some people have good experiences here. Unfortunately I was not one of them. I ordered my food online to be picked up at 6:45. When I got there I ordered two of the deluxe boxes and all of the food was mixed together. I was missing two burritos that I actually ordered and cinnabon deserve that was on my son's order. I'm sure there's another customer someone who probably ended up with my burrito for nothing was labeled and everything was just all in one bag smushed. I called very politely this morning to ask for a partial refund on the items that they did not give me. I was met with a lot of questions and the manager in the back called me a liar. If we don't get good service what can we do to get our refund or remake without being acosted by a worker or manager. I was so polite. And I tried to call after I realized the order was wrong maybe 5 minutes after I pick my order up they wouldn't answer the phone... And I called for the next hour and a half on and off just Incase they were busy, I was super polite but met with the opposite. As a manager you have to take responsibility for when you don't do the right thing. Constantly blaming the customer or constantly blaming the workers isn't going to work this is a specific thing and this person who I'm talking about knows knows who they are. I hope this review reaches the right person and I can get a refund on my...
