My wife and I landed in Bobâs shortly after they opened this new location. We were looking for a specific color leather sofa and love seat set. We had checked all of the other stores such as Colfax, Ashley, and a few of the other off brand stores. We came into Bobâs and there it was. The prices are average and I wouldnât say they are more or less expensive compared to other stores. We are in the process of remodeling a newly purchased home. We opted for the 90 days same as cash financing option via Acima. We choose this option just in case we ran into some unexpected issues with our remodel. Like most, we operate under a budget. We worked directly with the in store Acima rep Cindy. We explained our situation and gave them an approximate date that we would be able to pick up. Fast forward..we never got a call before/on the estimated pick up date to inform us that the furniture was in. We instead got MULTIPLE calls that the furniture needed to be picked up immediately or it was being sent back. By multiple I mean close to 10 or more. Our remodel is taking longer than expected. After all, we were told they just needed an approximate date. We EXPLAINED our situation EACH time they called. We spoke with multiple different managers, salespeople, Acima reps, etc. After getting a rather nasty voicemail from the Acima rep Cindy, we called them back AGAIN. Maria answered the phone. We EXPLAINED our situation yet again. Iâll admit that I wasnât exactly friendly after she informed me that the furniture was showing as âpicked upâ. This means they start charging us for items we DONâT HAVE. I was frustrated yet professional until she HUNG UP on me when I began asking questions that she couldnât answer. When I call back she sends me to voicemail. The next call Cindy answers. At this point I just wanted to cancel the order and lease all together. This still has not been done. I ordered a bedroom set from Bobs and have had a horrible experience.
I was supposed to get it on Saturday (minus one dresser).
Not only that, but the truck that arrived had a piece of paper on it that said "Bob's discount furniture" in handwriting which felt sketchy.
The delivery guys couldnât speak English, so I invited them inside out of the heat while I called Bob's.
During my call, they left without letting me know, took the mirror, and an hour later I got an email with a âdelivery receipt I had requestedâ - I didnât request it, and someone had signed the line I was supposed to sign upon delivery with a scribble - I didn't sign it.
I was told that a supervisor would call me in 24 to 48 hours on Saturday, and come Thursday I'd still heard nothing - though I called multiple times.
Donât end up like me. I literally sold my bed frame because the delivery was supposed to be here Saturday, and now Iâve been sleeping on the floor all week. I'm really glad I didn't order a mattress from them.
When I called my final time and waited on the phone again, I was connected with a supervisor who tried to make excuses for everything that happened, and at the end of the day showed no care or compassion for my situation. He was extremely rude, tried to gaslight me, and at then end of the day was only willing to offer me $225 dollars back because the associate below him offered it to me - otherwise he would have only given me a refund for the shipping which was not much lower than that.
Got it. A newborn mom, sleeping on the floor for a week because of their mistakes is worth delivery cost, nothing more. I'm never buying furniture from Bob's again.

   Read moreI ordered furniture August 23rd 2025, I have had nothing but problems since placing that order. The furniture was damaged upon arrival, delivery team damaged my home and thatâs just the first delivery. They had to exchange 4 furniture deliveries. First exchange after original delivery, which they still havenât contacted me back about the damages, they brought more bad furniture. Second exchange they swapped the dresser with a bad dresser still, damaged my walls again. Third exchange and everything was bad. Didnât even bring it in. This last exchange today September 23rd, swapped the dresser out but the bottom drawer doesnât even open but it opened outside, saying that is my carpet and the ground out side is more level even though all the feet of the dresser werenât on the ground outside. And I bet you can guess it they damaged my home again. Not only was he rude and didnât want to move this dresser and complained the entire time moving the dresser, refused to finish exchanging the footboard to my bed and drove off the grass and crib after insulting me and calling my home a piece of shit. Iâm beyond angry and Bobs furniture wont get back to me about the damage to my home and havenât offered a solution other than exchange everything again or have me purchase a new set of equal or lesser value. They are a lawsuit waiting to happen. Never again will I ever order from Bobs and all my neighbors and friends wonât order from bobs either since I told them whatâs been happening and they ask me every time they see the truck...
