This place is the worst !!! My granddaughter paid 555.00 for a dress and was told they would order a size 12 was the only size they could order for her which was fine as we knew it could be altered. However we did not read the size in the sales slip and when we picked the dress up and hit home realized it was a 10. We never should have left with the dress as they ripped it putting it one her and we had to wait for it to be repaired. The dress was too tight and we asked if it could be let out and they said we would have to ask alterations. They also broke the clasp at the top which we realized when we got home. The girl that helped us was very unprofessional and not very smart. It took her multiple times of trying to explain to her what we were there for for her to finally get it /. She bagged the dress and came to the waiting area and told us it was ready. She walked off and did not even tell us where she had put it. This place is a joke - they have now said they cannot reorder In a 12. They got the money and that was all they cared about. We called the manager once we realized they ordered the dress Incorrectly and she promised to call back after speaking with the supplier about reordering but she lied -âI called her back and was told she does not take calls during business hours. Hours later the not smart girl called my granddaughter and told her they could not order and she asked for the manager- she was out on hold and I know they left her on hold and left the store as it was after closing when they called. This place is very unprofessional so please know that these reviews are legit and steer clear of this place. Out only hope at this point is a good alteration shop can help us but I am having doubts.    Read moreI used Christopher's for my very recent wedding on April 21, 2018. There are a few reasons I am giving them two stars. First, the communication and organization is VERY lacking. I called multiple times and left messages without ever getting a response. Second, once I received the attire for my grooms party 1 shirt was missing both sleeve buttons and 2 shirts the button was barely sown on and ended up falling off within minutes of wearing it. There was also an issue with 1 shirt being WAY to large - however this I can understand because the groomsmen were supposed to go in for sizing after the shipment arrived but due to most of our groomsman being from multiple states away that was not a possibility. Stephanie the current owner is great to work with and if she had been in each interaction I think my experience would have been much better. She was kind and accommadating. However, some of the other girls that work in the store were not knowledgable and were not helpful. Overall - my guys looked SUPER handsome on our wedding day but looking back I probably would have taken my business elsewhere as it was just too much headache. PS - Be aware with this store that there is a 35$/day charge for each day the items are not returned 36 hours after the wedding. Also - the items you order will not come in until the monday or tuesday prior to your event and they suggest the groomsman to come in to make sure everything fits - as in my situation this was difficult to do as they live in...
   Read moreWORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! I ordered my son's prom tux 2 weeks ahead. I called on the Tuesday before the prom and they said it wasn't there and they would call me. I went in Friday before prom, she admitted that it was there on Monday and they called but couldn't reach anyone and didn't leave a message. Tux was 2 sizes too big, told me they couldn't do anything because truck was on the way. Proceeds to tell me that they can get right size jacket if I pay $65 for overnight shipping. I ended up driving out of my way to Lexington to pick up another jacket and because the pants were too big as well they fixed that too. I must say Bruce Tuexdo shop knows how to give good customer service and should probably give Christophers some training classes.
