I have been debating on doing this review or not but figured i would. I have been a long time customer of JC customs. Usually doing window tint for my trucks. I finally decided to lift my truck, Put new tires and rims on it, Put 2 10" speakers and subwoofers behind the back seat, replace all the speakers in my truck as well, tint the front windshield and put a train horn under my truck and put fender flares on it. This set me back about 12,000.00 which i was completely fine with. 2 days after picking up my truck the brake rotor fell off damaging my NEW rim they just installed 48 hours prior. They had to tow me back to their shop and put a new bolt on my rotor as they forgot to check it to make sure all the bolts were installed (luckily i was not going fast when it fell off as this could have caused an accident and some serious damage). They replaced the rim and sent me on my way. After about a day later my buddy noticed my fender flares had paint lines in them. It looks like they took them out back and spray painted them. The train horn was leaking air and would have to charge up every time i started my truck for 2 minutes. They said they did not tighten one of the fittings tight enough so i had to bring it back to them for that. The lift is now making a clicking noise every time i go forward and i don't even have 60,000 miles on the truck and they are telling me i need to replace a few parts (part of the lift which is still covered under warranty). The speakers in the driver door now makes my door rattle when it did not do it before they took the old ones out and they are wanting to charge me to install a door mat to fix it even though it did not do it before (i don't have anything major in my door just a normal speaker that i had upgraded from the OEM speaker). The only thing that sounds good is the subwoofer. The only thing that has not gone wrong is the window tint on the front windshield. You would think after all this they would have customer service and treat me right but they don't. Especially Kevin (the owner). The only person i like to deal with is Kyle but I will NEVER take my truck back to JC customs. Don't make the same mistake i did. If i could give them 0...
Read moreI last used JC’s Customs about 8 years ago and had a good experience. This time they did not disappoint.
I work overseas and emailed them and got through to Kevin. I explained my 14hr time difference and would need to manage everything over email, he gladly obliged.
I needed a new head unit stereo for my Jeep Wrangler JK as a surprise for my wife and he asked a few questions and for photos and we were set to go. Happy with my quote and booked in for fitting with a deposit.
A few days before my install I had tried to be a real man and install new bumpers front and back. I managed to get one off but was really struggling. I called and asked if they could install them for me and the gladly obliged.
I checked my car in for 8am until 4pm. My wife knew nothing about the new stereo and just thought I was getting new bumpers.
We went to collect the car and they took us into the workshop. Kevin and the guys were awesome and did an amazing job but left the stereo for me to surprise my wife with. They were really classy about it. I had to leave early and have her drive home. Kevin knew I didn’t want her knowing the cost and discreetly placed the receipt in an envelope for me.
We are very happy with the install work and quality of the craftsmanship. Their customer service was exemplary. I work in the theme park industry and see customer service all the time. Well done JC’s Customs.
Using a local company like this will never be your “cheapest” option but the service pays for itself. I would highly recommend them and will use them again...
Read moreHey! Anyone looking for quality service and customer service. I highly recommend JC’s. John is not only an awesome guy but he is also very knowledgeable about the business he actually takes it personally when it comes to customer satisfaction. First off we had our 2025 Palisade windows tinted, paint protection added to the front, and a Cobra dash cam and rear cam installed. The front windows weren’t dark enough with what they put on got with John and he called us and said yup they were not. He fixed the issue at no charge.Great work no issues at all so far after a 5000 mile cross country trip. Second. I have a 2018 Z71 wanted to change it a bit. John recommended the 3.5” RC Lift w/ Vertex adjustable coil over shocks for the front. Unfortunately the rear shocks that came with the kit were on back order. For the price difference I decided to upgrade to the adjustable rear shocks. Which was a really good idea for the ride is better than factory. Had the bow ties painted (blacked out) and the badging done and Fuel Wheels put on. I don’t have photos to add to post yet. I have to say everyone at JC’s Custom is great. John worked with me on both projects, he was awesome in opinion. And I’m not done changing the Z71 up. Will be a repeat customer and highly...
