I went to Lady Grace in Woburn, MA with my 92 year old mother to buy her a post surgical bra (she had a mastectomy). I pulled up into the parking lot, which was empty except for one car. I rang the bell (as the sign on the window instructs). The woman opens the door barely enough to fit her head through and asks ācan I help you?ā I told her we were there to buy my mother a bra. She said they donāt sell bras anymore except for post-surgical bras. When I told her that is what we needed, she said, āwe are by appointment only. Would you like to make an appointment?ā I looked outside and replied, āAre you busy? There is only one car hereā (which was probably hers!). She answered with a bit of an attitude, āYes Iām very busy with patientsā (plural). I stood there wondering to myself, āhow did all these āpatientsā get here? ! Did they walk?ā I didnāt even reply to her, took my mother by the arm, and walked out the door. I will find somewhere else to get a bra that fits my mother. I will not go back. Does this woman think itās easy for a 92-year old woman to go out and about to buy a bra? Some day sheāll be that age and think back at how she treated elderly patrons. I will never go back to Lady Grace, nor would I give them any business online. Further, I would not recommend this place. Honestly, giving them one star is a gift. āZeroā stars should...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf you like rude, miserable sales women this is the place for you! I have been to Lady Grace in Woburn many times each time I have not had that great of an experience considering the women that work at this establishment are extremely rude and unfriendly. I went again today going in there to spend well over $500 in bathing suits and all new bras. I am on crutches mind you and I stood there for a good 10 min before one of the women came up to me and before I even said anything she said I am with someone very nasty. I said ok thank you. Stood there another 5 min until I asked another woman with short hair, one of the younger ones, if she could just measure me real quickly she said she had other customers but all she was doing was fixing racks, walking back and forth and sipping on her dunks iced coffee! Yes she did have customers in the fitting room but she had plenty of time in between to take care of another customer, I guess her iced coffee was more important at that time. I will never, ever go here again this was my last and final straw. Avenue and Layne Bryant has plenty of bigger sized bras or even Fredricks of Hollywood! They lost some good business today. I worked in retail before that is just not how you treat customers at all! It blows my mind that they could hire such horrible customer...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTo the people who have left reviews saying "they don't answer the door" or "they made me wait around forever"... right on their website it lists the hours and says "by appointment." You have to make an appointment to go here. It's not a store you browse through. The ladies there are so crazy busy, and they are individually helping us ladies. Mastectomies are soul-crushing, and all of us deserve individualized, private support. OK, that being said... Barbara at Lady Grace is amazing. She has been incredibly helpful to me in the year that I've been going there. There's been a little snafu in my claims, but it's because I live in NH and the store is in MA, and how it was being filed. Other than that, they have made me comfortable again, they have made me happy again, finding the right post-mastectomy bras for me. So call, leave a message, they'll call you back and make an appointment, and you'll be very...
