Recently opened near us, went in there to check it out as the one Indian bakery chain we had near us is way past its best by date and absolutely disgusting. Place decor is very nice though not very many seating - maybe 4-5 tables of 4. I guess their model is more take out than done in. Eating in is cafeteria style. You order at the counter and they yell your name when food is ready, you walk over and pick it up. Plasticware & napkin dispensers. Did not see any water dispenser - maybe they want to sell bottled water Ordered a few stuff of which - Dahi puri - extremely sweet yogurt and barely any other chutneys to qualify as chaat, more like a dessert. Almond biscotti - tasted like burnt bread with almonds, definitely needs work. Pastries (Pineapple, chocolate) were good. Next trip will be to try out the pizzas. NOTE: The prices advertised are for CASH payments, if you pay by CC be prepared for a 4% upcharge as "non-cash adjustment" tacked on to your bill.

Update June 22 tried their iraní tea - it was fantastic however the taste of vadapav and egg puff is not consistent. I have to shave off one point. ******** Bombay Baking Co. is a fresh and welcome addition to Woburn’s growing Indian street food scene. This bright and clean café has a modern, inviting vibe with plenty of parking and super friendly staff. The vada pav was a standout—the flavors were bold and authentic, though the batter could have been a bit thinner for that perfect crunch. The butterscotch pastry was a delightful surprise—rich, moist, and indulgent. The egg puff was satisfying and well-seasoned, while the chili cheese toast was just average and could use a bit more punch. One disappointment: they were out of milk and couldn’t serve tea, which felt like a missed opportunity in a café setting. That said, the overall experience was positive, and I’m looking forward to coming back to try more from their menu.

Not sure where the good reviews are coming from. The atmosphere is horrible. I have been here 2x so far during the day and they dont have the AC on. Instead they have these humongous fans that are so loud you will get a headache. Its been 90+ degrees every day and how can a restaurant keep their AC off? When we asked the employee said the AC is off because they are baking. And when we asked again the 2nd time, another person said the AC is not working. Its a new restaurant so how can the AC not be working? Anyway, food is decent. But there's no way to sit inside and enjoy anything.

Such a pity ! Has a menu that is enticing and varied. Is very clean (of course being new); but still shows promise to be maintained well...although the Indian component of the designs seem to not gel with the overall place.

But unfortunately, the food was a huge disappointment. That is the word to use with the expectations one had. Veggie burger was lackluster with a fried (overdone) patty and nothing like what you either expect in India or what you can make at home from a masala burger patty from traders joe (this would have been better than what they did). Then came the Jalepeno Pizza. I get that we should not expect anything Indian in this case but having had this in other places - this was simply some Jalepenos thrown onto a high school pizza slice - the cheese pizza you get at a high school event that is bland, thin and just edible.

With the hope that this might have been a baking place we wanted to try some biscuits - wanted to buy some coconut ones. The person a the counter was gracious enough to let us sample - and it was just some hardened lump of baked good with hint of coconut. He let us try one more biscuit which was like the Hyderabadi kind and that was actually barely edible.

In the end, we left with sadness. I don't know how the others left 5 star reviews; so we might even visit once more to see if the chaat items are anything better. This because, I think this kind of eatery is much needed.....but have go in with low...

I am incredibly frustrated with my recent experience at this place. I ordered over $100 worth of food online two hours in advance, only to arrive and find that nothing had been prepared. The inside was absolutely stifling, like an oven, with no air conditioning to offer any relief.

When I inquired about my order, the staff member had the audacity to question when I placed it, despite my order slip being right in front of him. He told me it would be ready in five minutes, yet that was clearly a lie as he hadn’t even started preparing it then. When I mentioned that I wanted to cancel because I was running out of time, he bluntly refused.

This left me waiting for over 45 minutes while he kept saying, “Just five more minutes!” every few minutes. During this ridiculous wait, I grabbed a Coke from the fridge to help me cope with the situation. After all this, they had the nerve to charge me for not one, but THREE Cokes!

Finally, after nearly an hour of waiting, my food arrived. While it was acceptable, it certainly did not make up for the dreadful experience. Overall, the food was okay-ish, but the appalling service overshadowed it entirely. I cannot recommend this place based on my experience, and one star seems generous for such dismal service. Save yourself the trouble and go...
