Lands' End — Local services in Woodbury

Typically the clerks at this store are generally very nice, however the clerk I encountered today 10/22/21 (Heather) was rude and unfriendly. Upon arrival, I went straight to the checkout line to return some items. She did not look up or acknowledge me...apparently she was still helping another customer, but I didnt know this because the customer was not standing directly in front of her and was kind of away from the register making last minute purchasing decisions.

Because Heather didn't say anything like "Hello, I'll be right with you"...Or even look at me while i was standing in front of her, I said a small "Hello".....no acknowledgment from her. Then this is when the indecisive customer comes back to complete her purchase and then I realized she was assisting someone else.

To make matters worse, I told her I had lost my receipt...to which her facial expression changed to one of annoyance...she actually sighed...come to find out she could have easily looked up my purchase using the last 4 digits of my card. But she didnt offer me this solution at first...she could have simply said "no problem, let's try looking it up using the last 4 digits of your bank card"....instead she made me feel ashamed for not having the receipt....

Also, during the transaction...she had time to look up and acknowledge a customer walking in and said "hello, welcome in".....incredible...as she ignored me while I was standing right in front of her before with no ackowledgement.

As a person of color, this affected me personally and made me feel that she treated me this way due to me not being white. What other explaination could there be? Needless to say I dont feel like spending my money here anymore....not if I'm going to be...

Had the absolute worst customer service experience. We were checking out a few minutes after closing and I feel bad but we didn't realize. And the red hair lady was SO RUDE. she made the process take longer because she was confused, which is fine, but she blamed it on us. Shewas practically throwing the clothes at us knocking my stuff off the counter. Please check cameras at 7pm on 2/13/25. So if you are a few minutes after closing customer service goes right out the window. And then she stated she broke store policy because she was frustrated. She literally said "you're killing me were closed". Again I feel really bad she had to stay late but I truly hope she doesn't throw people's stuff at them the way she did toward us because I could never imagine doing that to someone. The things she said to us and the way she laughed at us when she was mad was actually...

Came here with my girlfriend and she was returning an online purchase; they gave her a 10% off coupon to use on a purchase that day. She used it to purchase a coat that was marked 60% off and they stacked the extra 10% off.

I looked through the men's section though I just didn't see anything that I was interested in purchasing. Prices generally seemed higher than I would have expected. The store was well lit and clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Bathroom was clean.

There were several chairs scattered through the store to rest and wait as needed and the changing rooms were fine.

They had a large number of sales going in throughout the store, perhaps that is the typical method they use to attract customers. For me there is generally a larger and more usable selection available at a JCPenney or similar. This store just...
