Terrible service as mentioned by others but even more appalling when managers, specifically Maggie and Braceley, are rude, defensive, and argumentative.
Placed online order to be picked up in 20 mins. Arrived at the restaurant 5 mins later and Maggie quoted a "couple mins" for the wait. There was only one customer ahead of me at this time. Nearly 15 mins later, my order was still being prepared while multiple customers came in, placed their orders, and left.
Afterward I called to voice my displeasure to the manager who coincidentally was Maggie. When pressed about the wait time, she was defensive, contradicted herself and argued that salmon takes longer to cook and that my order was set to be done at a prespecified time so in other words I had no right to be angry. Why in the world would you hold an order for a customer that has already checked in with you? Why would you mislead the customer and misquote an incorrect time? And why would you take new orders and fulfill them in advance of an earlier order?
She left such a bad taste in my mouth, I had no choice but to request a refund which she agreed to but not before saying "I don't want you coming back!" To add insult to injury, I got charged twice for the transaction and will now have to dispute the charges with my credit card company.
Bracely is apparently her manager and was just as rude and upsetting to deal with. I was given her contact so I called and sadly she was also rude, defended her employee's horrible behavior, was condescending and asked if I even dined out before and whether I understood how online orders work. She even had the gall to hang up on me when I requested the spelling of her name so I could provide feedback to corporate.
It's evident that this establishment does not prioritize customer service which is very unfortunate because I used to enjoy dining here but...
Read moreI am completely disappointed with the terrible service that I received this evening at Piada in Woodbury, and will never give this location my business again. My husband and I went to pick up dinner this evening (3/20/19) around roughly 6pm, and the wait was extremely long. As we waited I witnessed 2 employees whispering to each other on the line, one of whom ended up providing unacceptable service to my husband. A younger male employee with dark hair, and facial hair clearly did not want to be at work, and had an extremely negative disposition about him. I overheard heard him whisper to his female co-worker, “fire me now”, as he rolled his eyes. Once it was our turn to order he continued on with his extremely poor attitude. At one point my husband communicated to him that he would like to have spinach added to his pasta, and the young male replied “tell her”, in an extremely rude tone of voice.
The 2 female employees at the end of the line weren’t much better, as they appeared extremely overwhelmed and rushed. Which is probably why both of our orders were not prepared correctly. Both of our orders had spinach just thrown on top of both of our pasta (not cooked in). Additionally, we were rushed through the line and didn’t receive the opportunity to add additional ingredients. I do plan to bring this complaint to corporate, because this is unacceptable. The entire staff needs to be re-trained on what it means to provide quality customer service. I absolutely love the Piada locations in Eagan and at the Mall of America. The Woodbury location on the other hand will never receive my...
