Repeat customer for 1 year that is finally done with this place. To their credit, the staff has usually been courteous. The food served has consistently matched our order. I've never had a mistake on my recurring special request for no tomatoes on my burger.
But at other times, the place is plagued by gross incompetence that defies belief. They were completely out of chocolate ice cream for multiple consecutive trips over a few weeks. They have stated in person at the register that they no longer offer the $5 lunch deal all day, but haven't been bothered to take down the signs falsely advertising the all-day deal for weeks. And today, I couldn't get them to understand their own coupon. I had a buy-1-Blizzard-get-1-for-$0.99 coupon, for which I tried to purchase a medium Blizzard and get a smaller mini for $0.99. The cashier instead first charged it as a $1.00 discount instead of a $0.99 purchase price. When I asked her to review the coupon, she reread and said the coupon didn't apply because I didn't order the same size, as the purchased Blizzard needed to be "of equal or greater value" (doesn't a medium apply?). Continuing the argument, the manager finally weighed in, and against all expectations said he believed the $0.99 Blizzard needed to be the one "of equal or greater value." He finally concluded that while I purchased a mini, I could have purchased a large for $0.99, but the coupon didn't apply because I had only purchased a medium (?!?!?). At that point in the conversation, logic was clearly out the window, my family was still waiting, the Blizzards were already served and melting, and so I just left the argument in complete frustration.
If management wants to argue with a repeat customer and Blizzard Fan Club member over a matter of $1.40, I'll be happy to take my family elsewhere. I won't bother returning until I see a large banner outside the store advertising, "Under New...

I called from outside of States ordered a birthday cake 2 weeks (pic 2) in advance for my friend and received an unfinished cake (pic 1) on the birthday with no decoration whatsoever. When the guy received the call from the store to pick up the cake, he was told that due to they have too many orders they don't have time to make the cake. (Then why you called the guy to pick up the cake while it's not even finished???)
I called the store looking for the manager but the phone got passed around and around among a bunch of staff who can't even speak proper English and no one's willing to provide me with the information. Gabby the employee told me it'll take another 24 hrs to make a new cake. I had bring back the cake and the guy didn't even get the cake on his birthday.
I didn't receive any apology from the store, moreover, I was rejected in any possible way to extend the issue to the escalating managing level, even though I've left them with both my email and phone number.
I had to contact customer service and called the store manager Karam a few times left with voicemail yet received no response or callback.
As a customer who's ordering DQ cake on almost every occasion, I've never had such ridiculous experience. As a matter of fact before I decided to share it here, I've given them lots of chances and unfortunately they were all being ignored which left me with no choice.
There's absolutely no respect or caring from this store, and that makes me to put a giant question mark on DQ's cultural value on customer service.
Everyone deserves a cake on their birthday and no one should ever be treated this way just because they know I can't show up in person as I'm calling from another country so, STAY AWAY FROM THIS...
Read moreBeen here multiple times. Normally I get what I order, while the staff isn't normally super friendly, I've never had any issues till this weekend.
Was out running errands and grabbed lunch on my way home. When the employee handed me the bag, he said my chili dog and fries were in the bag. Got home and there were no fries. Ok, everyone makes mistakes. I don't want to go back cause its about a 10 mile drive. So I call them to see about getting a refund - no answer. Ok, I'll swing by after work the next day (cause I work right by the DQ) and get a refund (I saved my receipt). Employee won't give me a refund because its been over 24 hours. He repeatedly offers to give me an order of fries (um... I wanted fries the day before, not then). No apology or anything, just repeatedly tells me its been over 24 hours and he can give me fries or something of equal value. I was asked if I called and I said I did, but no one answered - not even a machine. (No explanation of why no one answered.) Manager finally comes over, and basically says all the same things (again, no apology). Eventually the manager gave me a voucher for the amount. The whole time I felt like everyone thought I was lying and was there to con them out of money. The fries were $2.29 (and weren't even the most expensive thing that I ordered that day!). Generally speaking, it's probably worth just believing the customer and refunding the $2.29... I don't think anyone is going to go to all this effort to con a...
