Just posted about your Springfield Pike security guard. Somehow you removed the post. So here it is again. Tonight 4/5/2022 was shopping at 7:45 pm. A strange man in plain clothes who did not announce himself started screaming at me "Didnt you hear what they said?" I had no idea who he was so continue shopping, planning to leave at closing time in 15 minutes. Instead this man aggressively pursued me, screaming, following and trying to control the way I walked to the check out isle. He was so aggressive, I was very threatened and shaken up. When I arrived at the register, with him pursueing, screaming and harrassing me, I was too shaken up to purchase anything. I saw 4 clerks witness this entire ordeal. I heard one of them say "I wouldnt blame her, I would do the same thing.." I told this unmarked guard that I was reporting him. I am posting this hear. Shopping at good will fifteen minutes prior to close does not warrant this over aggressive behavior. Does this man have a record for violence? Sure seemed like it. I am reporting to the BBB and the police. Instead of deleting this post, which I will report, please call me with the reasons you are hiring some crazy man with this...

I hadn't been to the Goodwill since July of last year. Today is my birthday (January 9th 1955) so I remembered that it's usually 50% off for anything in the store. To my dismay that's no longer featured. Now just colored tags based on the week. So I'm suppose to search the entire store for clothing with a pink tag (this week). No thank you. I don't have all day. I think that the goodwill is using the Pandemic to become greedy. Gone is the sales promotion calendar featuring 50% off for seniors over 55 each Sunday. Or featured items i.e. housewares, shoes, electronics, furniture, toys, etc.. Now I notice fewer cars in the parking lots. less people in the stores. I guess that they got their wish. Goodwill eliminated discounts and raised prices but they're getting less patronage. I used to be a weekly shopper once upon a time but since all these changes Goodwill made they will not see me...

The other day my husband, the kids and I went to take a friend to his brother's apartment. The apartment is weirdly placed and you have to pull in this goodwill parking lot to get to the apartment. We just stopped in the parking lot, the guy got out and walked to his brother's apartment and my husband hopped into the backseat to feed one of the twins before we headed home again. The goodwill had just closed and the manager came out and asked if we was okay. We said yeah sorry just feeding one of the kids then we will leave. He started freaking out saying we have 5 minutes to get out of the parking lot. My husband said let's just leave now. The guy then proceeded to take pictures of us, our plates and CALLED THE COPS! We did EXACTLY what he wanted BEFORE the time he gave us to do it in! Im so disappointed goodwill has a manager like that working...
