Shop here quite frequently 1-3x times a week. Staff is always super friendly! Warren does an amazing job leading his team.
The only negative thing I have to say is that I heard some of the employees talking the other day about their average transactions being down and that they weren't sure why. So as some insight from the customers point of view, I will say lately it's been a lot of fast fashion which is not something you guys can control, BUT it's also been that a lot of garments that are high quality that I would love to take home, have holes in them from where the tag is being placed on the garment.
Instead of placing the goodwill tags on the clothing tag, it's being placed on random places on the garment(half of the time it's not even inseams). So when I get home and remove that tag, it leaves a hole in the garments I then have to throw away. I've gone from spending over $100 each time I come to about only $35 in the past few weeks.
Please change your policies on where to place these tags. Its so sad how many clothing items are being ruined by your team and probably why they don't sell at the retail stores. Please please please start putting those tags on the branding tags. I see the goodwills in dayton only put colored tags out and st.vincent de paul in cincinnati and Valley thrifts put their pricing tags just like this. If you would start doing this I guarantee you your sales...
Read moreMost of the current reviews are referring to the Goodwill retail store next door, but this is the Goodwill Outlet store where items are priced by the pound. It is small and prices slightly different to other “bins” stores throughout the region.
My one star is because this place is absolutely never open. They have been closed “for the week” for going on 3 months now. You can’t get anyone on the phone, and their social media is coy at best with what’s going on. You can’t claim staffing shortage when the retail store is fully staffed.
This is the only Goodwill outlet in the Cincinnati Tri-state area (Kentucky does not have one) and most of us don’t want to go 30 extra miles to Dayton when gas is pushing $5 a gallon. Either limit hours or close permanently so people don’t need to plan trips around when the Facebook page will announce their opening or...
Read moreShowed up super excited, it was theirs time visiting for my husband and I. We live about 3 hours away, so this was a big deal for us! It was fun.... till it wasn't! We shopped there for hours, (which is super easy to do and gathered a WHOLE cart full) just to be told their internet was down and no one would be out till tomorrow but if we wanted to come back tomorrow to claim our buggy they would hold it... they said they can't even take cash which we offered and was told no. We had to put basically 3 hours worth of shopping back in bins, and left empty handed as we could not return and do another trip tomorrow. No other options were given and we wasted a whole day for nothing...I'm sure though that the prices are decent when you actually get rung up. I will...
