McDonald's I went tthrought the drive thru. I ordered my food there seemed no problem. The order had a large coffee with expresso (breakfast) there are up charges always for this no surprise. I looked at the total on the screen $6.97. I pulled up to pay and the person told me? $8.98. I said no I'm sorry that's not my order. She read my order to me and said 8.98 I told her that's not what the screen showed as my total. She explained that I had order a large coffee and an expresso shot and it was the up charge. I let her know that was not satisfactory because it did not show on the screen for my total. She explained again about my up charge. I told her it was not the up charge I was objecting to. It was the fact that it did not show it on the screen as my total. I decided to speak to the GM. Maybe she could see my point. But after explained to her she told me it was the up charge for my order. I again told her that if they are going to charge an up charge it should be reflected in the total on the drive thru screen. She said it was. I told her I know it didn't and she asked to drive thru again and she would prove I was wrong. I refused that offer. Because she was basically calling me a liar and there were 3 cars behind me already. I was already late because of trying to get them to understand the real issue. I didn't want compensation or free food. I wanted the next time I drove thru McDonald's and order my large coffee with a shot of Expresso that the up charges would be reflected in the total on the drive thru screen. Honestly, why would a GM want to continue allowing this to happen? For one. If it is put in as a miscellaneous charge she can change it to a food loss or simply delete some or all of the misc charges. Or even void whole orders. There is a certain amount of food lost to the floor or even customer returns. I am sending this review to the Corporate office for review. Hopefully someone will investigate. But I am checking out from McDonald's in this...
Read moreThere is not much here. A Kroger ( the best Kroger Pharmacy in the system ) and a McDonald's at the other end are the only two reasons I would stop here. There is a "not so great" urgent care that would not remove stitches "because they didn't put them in." So, it's essentially a Kroger with a mini strip. Goodwill is across the street. Waffle House across the corner. Woodlawn, but the Kroger is one of those that draws shoppers from Glendale and Wyoming. And as I said, the Pharmacy, at the Kroger here is managed by Rick, who is the best Pharmacy Manager I have ever met. The longevity and upbeat mood of his staff, their willingness to help customers is all way above average for retail...
Read moreI shop at Kroger here. For the most part I like this Kroger better than the Hunt road location and its heaven compared to the Vine street location. My only 2 cons are the lots small and 9/10 you get stuck bagging your own groceries because the young people working there can't take thier heads out thier butts long enough to do any work what so ever. The older people I've encountered here are hard working and polite. The pharmacy here is pretty good too and fast with again the young people being the only issue. The self entitled rude, lousy attitudes that they carry around all day makes all these businesses operate insufficiently. Other than that I'm happy to shop here time...
