As a girlie in her 30s, I’ve been struggling to find a store with my style. Urban outfitters days are over, target isn’t it anymore, and I didn’t want to succumb to fast fashion online stores. But I had because I had given up finding reasonably priced pieces that fit me. I just started wearing bagging ok fitting clothes because it was the best I could do.

I walked into Branches on a whim and picked out a few cute pieces (sweaters and easy fitting jackets). As I was checking out, Jody, the store owner, was so friendly and nice to talk with. It came up how shopping is hard for my body type and I was so happy to find some pieces that fit, but it’s too emotional for me to try pants. They all make me feel awful about my body. She was so kind and encouraged me to just try, she’d help me. Hesitantly I said ok. She pulled one pair of jeans for me and I reluctantly tried them on. They are THE best fitting jeans ever. She then grabbed 2 more, one from the back. They all fit, I felt like crying. She could tell my body type and knew exactly the cut and size for me. Then she spent time helping me style, letting me try all of her jewelry, and talking through the pieces and outfits with me. This experience changed my life. I’m not exaggerating. She made me feel so good about my body and my style, a feeling I haven’t had in a long time. I usually hate when store reps try to “help” because it feels like they just push clothes on you and it “all” looks good. This wasn’t that, Jody legitimately wanted to help me have a pleasant experience. And she legitimately wanted to help style rather than just push it all. Her jewelry is beautiful! And she knows how to pair it with clothes in such a unique way that allows dressing up and down key pieces. I have shopped at Branch several times. I purchased some pieces for my daughter and she loved it all. They have really cute jewelry as well. Every time that I go, I am always greeted very nicely and the last time that I went, I honestly thought that I nothing would fit me as I am a bit more on the curvy. side. Well boy was I wrong. Rochelle (not sure if I spelled her name correct) greeted me and as always was very nice. We started talking and she ended up showing me some pieces that she thought would fit me. As I was a bit unsure, I ended up trying them on and let's just say I came out walking with 2 bags and extremely happy with all that I purchased. Clothing and jewelry. Their return policy is clear on the bottom of the receipts and I they have me as a regular customer and will highly recommend them. Every time I walk in, I’m greeted by a friendly hi. I look around for a bit then asked if I need help w anything. I ALWAYS find something I like even if I don’t buy. I always suggest Branches to friends and visitors, usually taking them in after lunch in downtown Woodstock. I make it a point to stop in at least once a month ( wish I could afford more 🤦🏼‍♀️).
