My fiancé and I cannot speak highly enough about our experience at Cultured Brilliance. After having a couple awful experiences at large name jewelry companies with pushy salespeople. When entering into Cultured Brilliance we knew immediately that we had found the place for us. Tony was very welcoming and calmed all of the nerves we had. He gave us his undivided attention aiding us in the millions of questions I had. He was very upfront with all of the information not trying to sell us the biggest most expensive thing in the shop. After talking to him about what we possibly wanted to do with our wedding band he helped us create the most elegant simple engagement ring. We recently went back to Cultured Brilliance to design a custom wedding band. Throughout this process we had the help of Kathleen. She was just as amazing as Tony, sitting down and listening to everything I was picturing and helping me take my vision to life. For my wedding band I was set on using heirloom diamonds from both my grandfather and grandmother’s engagement rings. This meaning thought I had two different sized diamonds. Kathleen and I went back and forth many times, her sending me a virtual drawing and me critiquing something I didn’t like about it. Kathleen would text and call me on her own off days to check in. During the wedding band process I was also speaking with Kathleen about my wedding jewelry. Wanting to create a very small single pearl with a dainty gold chain. She went to work trying to find me exactly what I was looking for. The task ended up being harder than anticipated due to being able to put a chain through such a small pearl. When we got the piece in Kathleen gifted me the necklace as a wedding present along with the sweetest hand written card. We have already recommended all of our friends who are looking to create an engagement ring to them. We decided to visit this jewelry store in downtown Woodstock for many reasons, mostly we wanted to look and get ideas. We have been together over 27 years and wanted to take some older, maybe damaged pieces and create something new. Not only did Tony hear our ideas for this but told us nicely and with candor what would and wouldn't work and why. During this process we ended up settling on a rework/update of my current wedding setting and choosing a much larger diamond for the center stone as a 25th wedding anniversary from my husband to me.

The stone is nearly flawless, and because it is lab created is visibly clear in color and stunning. We struggled with upgrading or buying new diamonds for many reasons including diamond mining and selling processes as well as the cost considerations. My new and improved set is breathtaking but was well within the budget my husband set aside for this timeless and special gift. I feel honored to wear this and thankful my husband purchased for me. He is pleased with the results, the cost, the timeliness as well as over all experience with both Tony and Cultured Brilliance. My old setting was polished and looks brand new as well.
