  1. i asked the lady at the order counter if taking food outside was ok. She replied "sure". taking food outside resulted in a swarm of flies and hornets. One hornet took a swim in the Brunswick Stew. we had to retreat back inside.

  2. brisket could not have "looked" any better. visually is was perfect. the bad news it had zero flavor of anything except grease. zero smoke flavor. zero rub... not even any salt. the sliced turkey was ok. the pulled pork was stringy and dry. brunswick stew was terrible, as it too was just too greasy. In all, the food was completely disappointing, although I did like the potato salad. I wasn't happy to leave the $27 3 meat combo platter mostly uneaten, but it wasn't good.

  3. the place itself is awesome, but they don't appear to have anyone who comes out of the kitchen. the tables are sticky from all the sweet bbq sauce drips, and my clothes kept sticking to the table.

I live in Woodstock and I go downtown 3-4 times a week. I doubt I'll be going back to...

Went for Trivia on Wednesday night which was a lot of fun. Having the spot be shared with reformation Brewery made for a great atmosphere with lots of space outside.

The food was a mixed bag. I didn’t take pictures of the brisket and pulled pork or the sides we had (collard greens and Mac & cheese) but they were… fine. The brisket was a little dry and the pork wasn’t exactly flavorful. The sauces were needed to provide some extra flavor and they certainly delivered (the sweet, the sour, and the hot pepper were my favorites)

We did end up getting to trivia before our friends so we did have time to order and absolutely devour the southern poutine. That, I highly recommend. The chili on the fries had a really nice kick to it that, to me, made this extremely tasty.

Bottom line, the beer there is good, the southern poutine is excellent, and the bbq is bbq (not excellent but...

Had to be one of my worst experience going out to eat somewhere. Was in the area looking for something different to try, found this place and figured why not give it a try.

The no Cash thing is not a huge deal to work with but should be noted on the way in the door not after spending time looking at the menu.

When placing our order the girl behind the counter was more worried about talking with the cook about how her clothes looked and what the plans were for the weekend. After getting her attention I had to repeat my order 3x and she still got it wrong.

The food...WOW... Had to be one of the worst BBQ ever. Cold, fatty, greasy and flavorless. Was really sad to have that ALL happen in a first experience.

As you can see that my experience here was my first and last. Shame to spend as much as we did just to have to throw more than...

We stopped here for a meal and to visit the brewery, always a good combination. The food was good, very impressed by the turkey. They had a pretty good selection of sauces. What we didn't like was the cleanliness and prices. We ate our meal feeling harassed by a few unruly flies. The space is dog friendly and during the meal I somehow found myself in possession of a large quantity of dog hair. Price for just a plain hot dog for a kid was outrageous for what they served.

The pork wasn't trimmed well so there were several inedible fatty pieces. Greens were ok but nothing special. BBQ sauce was nothing special either. They had no unsweet tea. Cashier did not seem happy at all. It's kind of dark inside and outdoor has bunch of trees. That's not really a bad thing except in autumn. Maybe have some tents during autumn? We got a ton of leaves in our food and drinks.
