I really, really, really want to like Reformation Brewery, however their lack of communication & disorganization of management (at best) was very disappointing. I was planning my sisters’ 40th birthday & we were expecting 50-60 peopl). For over a week, I called and left 3 messages, didn’t leave a fourth, with no call backs. I actually WENT to the location where I guess there was no management there and no one was able to answer my questions. I did get the name of the general manager, Shawn McLeod and emailed her that Friday. She didn’t get back to me until Monday or Tuesday and was really unhelpful AND didn’t even bother to call me back. You would think that after leaving 3 detailed messages, and a detailed email, and talking to staff that she would have given some sort of guidance. Nope. She actually asked what time we were coming on that Saturday even though I had relayed this several times already. I was told that they don’t reserve tables and spots, etc. ok, whatever. Not sure why they wouldn’t make exceptions for 50-60 people. We were bringing in that business, potential repeat customers, etc. I am most upset by the lack of communication and unprofessionalism of the general manager. Even though I understand they wouldn’t bend on the reservations thing, I still had other questions about the details of what we would be bringing and what we planned on doing for my sister. My brother-in-law and I would have LOVED to move locations and not bring in any business to them, but my sister didn’t want to move it. When we got there, none of the staff even knew we were coming!!!! All of the tables were full. Luckily, I ran in to a couple of guys who kindly moved tables because there were only two of them at a 6 top. The only saving grace and the reason that I am giving them even two stars instead of one is because a couple of their staff members treated us very well when we got there and started bringing out a table for the cake and saving another table next to us and was very accommodating. Thanks to John and Paul (Paul especially) for treating us like we were...

The worst Brewery of the 175 we have visited across the country.
We have visited this Brewery 3 times and have been heavily disappointed each time. For disclosure, my job involes tasting and I am trained in sensory. Having visited 175 breweries, we know the style of beers we like. Each time we have ordered them at Reformation they have been terribly mislabeled. They never indicate an IBU either which is very unlike most craft breweries we have gone to.
If you like IPAs or Double Dry Hopped beers, this is your Brewery. Even a lager will be heavily dry hopped.
But if you enjoy clean and crisp lagers or other German style beers... RUN, don't even bother stopping. The "lagers" are soapy with the amount of hops they add and extremely bitter.
I will happily update my review if they ever get a true head brewer who can properly brew a lager without covering up woth hops. But for now they are the worst Brewery of the 175 we have visited across...
Read moreWoodstock is a great city and Reformation Brewery is at the heart of the action. The building itself is aesthetically pleasing and it offers a huge space to accommodated groups of all sizes. There’s wooden chairs outside, stool seating both indoor and outdoor, benches, leather couches, and cloth chairs. The drink menu is also diverse as they have multiple beer styles on tap along with various cocktails, alcoholic slushees, and non-alcoholic beers to boot. I had a standalone beer and cocktail along with a flight since they are $8’s on Friday before 2pm. Certain styles are better crafted than others, so the variety in choice is nice to have. I saw people working solo on their computer, big groups, families with small children, and couples enjoying themselves so there’s something for everyone. The one complaint is that the second floor bathroom light is time sensitive so I found myself in the dark for a hot minute. Come check it out and find what works for you within...
