I used to work in high-end retail sales for Nordstrom, and my brother does work in sales currently, so I know good service when I saw it today from Skip, the sales manager.
Within seconds of entering the store, I was greeted by Skip, who asked "What can I help you find?". I had already been to TWO other stores from alternative companies looking to buy a simple printer but they were out of inventory and the first store wouldn't let me buy the display unit! I get that some stores don't do this but I'm trying to print very important documentation and was ready to spend!
Skip showed me where the printers were, explained the difference between inkjet and laser jet, led me to a printer more in my budget, answered all my questions about ink, the type, the cost, and as a result, I willingly bought a nicer printer than what I was originally planning on! All because I got good and fast service from someone as soon as I walked in the door.
I even got the square trade as I know someone who sells square trade and am familiar with how much of a good deal it is. So now my printer gets replaced if certain things go wrong within two years!
Skip was a good salesman who got me to get ink on top of what the printer already came with, but I declined paper as I already had plenty.
Not only was he willing to sell me the display unit which was necessary, and something a previous store wouldn't do, but he also fetched two large plastic bags to help cover the unit as it was drizzly outside and I didn't want the printer getting wet. At the register I let him know how much I appreciated his help having come empty handed from two other stores.
I'm actually surprised that Skip has a couple non-positive reviews on here, but I'd give him a chance because he really knocked it out of the park for me today. My assessment was that he read the reviews and had made the proper adjustments, assuming there was actually a problem in the first place.

   Read moreI tried ordering baby shower games to be printed here. I placed the order online and was given a pick up date with tracking on the order. The day I was supposed to be able to pick up the order, it was still showing as âprocessingâ on the website. A family member tried to stop in the store to pick up for me and a extremely rude man told her he didnât know when the order would be ready, he told her âcould be today, could be tomorrow, could be a few days from nowâ. She tried to tell them we needed them for the following day but he just walked away. I tried calling the store several times and was left on hold for over 10 minutes. On my third attempt calling the store, a man answered the phone and I stated I was supposed to have an order ready for pick up today. Without asking my name or order number, the man told me the same thing, he didnât know when the order would be ready then hung up the phone. We gave them a few more hours, trying to be reasonable, then finally called towards the end of the day. Finally a nice woman answered the phone and told me my order hasnât even started printing, I then cancelled the order and she apologized several times but the whole experience was terrible. Would not recommend!!!! I was able to walk into UPS the next day and get everything printed and cut in a matter of 20 minutes.    Read moreI would like to give a wonderful compliment to Clarissa(store manager), Bradley(associate), and Bee(associate) on behalf of ARC South, LLC(Canton, GA). I visited the store today with an urgent binding job needed for my Managing Director's business trip. He needed 14 presentation booklets spiral bound prior to his flight.
Bradley was my first point of contact. He attentively listened to my request and understood the urgency of it. He checked with Clarissa and she gave the approval to expedite the job. Bee immediately came over to assist Bradley. Excellent team work demonstrated and they did it graciously. Prior to leaving, I picked up a few items to purchase. By the time I was checking out, Bradley and Bee had one booklet ready for me to preview. It was perfectly done(cover, backing, and spiral bound). I left the store and went to Target to kill some time as I waited. When I returned, the job was completed, packaged, and ready for pickup. Bradley opened the sealed box for my viewing. The completed project was right on point!! They understood and executed the task. It was a stressful situation that turned out quite peaceful.
