There is a thief that works here.
One of the employees at this specific store stole the points off of our rewards account. We were there one day to buy some stuff and the lady said we should spend our points to renew it because we had tons of points (as we like to save them up and spend them in large amounts). She then told us that we should be careful because all it takes for someone to steal the points is getting our phone number. We said we knew and still declined. Of course we verbally gave her our number to get the points for this transaction. A day or two passes and we get an email thanking us for spending our points online. Someone used our account to buy gift cards and spent them on another account. We have been members forever and saving points like this for a long time, this never has happened before. This was no coincidence. We have avoided this store when this lady, who I believe is a manager, is working there. Unfortunately we had a preorder to pick up and went into the store today thinking she wasn't there to pick up this pre-order. Surprise, they told is they had no record of the pre-order that WE PAID FOR IN FULL ALREADY... Last time we were in the store the girl (the one that stole our points and now pre-order) told us the item just hadn't come in yet.
The person working today was told about their fellow employees actions and he said that they "are a team and no one on the team would do that." Well be assured this isn't over. We've contacted corporate already once and luckily they gave us the points you stole from us back. We'll be calling corporate back today and informing them of our stolen pre-order as well.
Luckily there are other Gamestops close by who know that this Gamestop as a bad reputation and we much prefer to spend our money there. It's sad that you sat there and had a good conversation with us about our family and games and our daughter and then stole from us in the same day. I'm sure you used a throwaway account to use the gift cards so you didn't get caught by corporate, but today it just proved to us that it was you when we were told our pre-order wasn't there and the kid acted like we never even pre-ordered it. I guess the girl we talked to that day lied to us then. Either shes a liar or thief.

Read moreI'm sad to say that I will not return this store. The lady working today was very unprofessional and rude. The store had a limit of 7 people inside which was fine. I stood in line for a half hour. One of the customers in front of me came to the door to let me know there were only 5 in the store so I and the young lady behind me could come in. As we started to enter, the lady started going off on the customer who told me and was extremely rude. She pointed to me to leave the store and wait. The whole time I had been there each time someone left, someone would go in. So as I stood there, a man left so I decided to enter the store. She then pointer her finger at me again and told me to go back outside again. At this point there were only 4 people inside. When those 4 left I was told to come in. The lady behind me was let in and that another lady and her daughter behind her came in (total of 4 thus far) and demanded the last 2 to go back outside! So there were just 2 of us in the store. When the lady and daughter came in I could here her asking in a somewhat aggressive tone 'what are you looking for, what do you need'. She said this a couple of times. Never once did she address me. Her customer service skills are terrible. I did not see any other employees so I dont know if she had been working all day by herself but it is still no reason to act that way especially when you have a max of 7 people in the store and the customers were being very patient. Read moreThe blonde girl that was on shift yesterday was very rude. I came in ready with a phone to trade in. When they took it they immediately look like they didn't know what they were doing as they were exchanging looks back and forth ...like they were deciding who was going to do the trade in... this made me very hesitant to still do business at this location...I've done trades ins a bunch of times with game stop over the years.... once I gave them the phone they know what to do and ask me questions I'm familiar with on the trade in process... the blonde girl rudely says is the phone you have unlocked with an eyeroll... I said no it's with Verizon and this made me question them.... because in the past they never cared who the carrier was for on the phone...like i got no hello or welcome in as i walked in the door. Then she's like oh we can't do the trade in if it's not unlocked so you can take this back and starts rollin her eyes and says something under her breath to the guy coworker...then goes and helps the next customer I use to love game stop but they will just hire anybody now a days and that's bad cause not alot of people people have good customer service...
I called the Chastain meadows location and they gladly helped me with my trade in they said it wasn't a big deal unlocked or not....like this is why game stop is slowly running out of business... you guys keep hiring these rude teenagers and young adults.... please get some actually decent workers in...
